The hardware appears compact and sleek, so it doesn't look out of place on our tiny medicine cabinet. Even with using the short screws it came with, it feels pretty sturdy and doesn't shift or budge when the screws are fully drilled in and it's locked.The keys slide in and out of the locks easily and the latch can be opened with the key still in the keyhole.It functions as it should without much issue, the locks themselves are pretty heavy though despite being so small so it wouldn't work well on small lightweight items.Our only complaint: if the two pieces of hardware (latch and lock) are installed even slightly lopsided to one another it'll take a bit of fidgeting to lock and unlock. Still very much usable, just takes a few extra seconds. The screws also have a tendency to twist the hardware a bit towards the end, but that may be user error! We found a tiny bit of mounting putty on the back of each piece helps keep everything level and in place while adding the screws, and as long as only a tiny bit is used it doesn't stop the hardware from going flush against whatever it's being attached too.

I purchased a small duck coop that came equipped with locks that would be easily opened by a predator. I found these while looking into some other options and decided to give them at try. They were extremely easy to install and really sturdy. They have worked great and have made me feel better about keeping predators out. I do wish there was an option for the locks to both use the same key instead of each lock having a different one, but it's not that big of a deal.

Ok so i live with close family who loves to steal stuff, im the only one with their crap together. While i was at work the lock was a little bent but thats it. All of my stuff is safe and the lock still works like new. If you have bad roommates you need this. I have one on my closet too. Its nice going to work with some peace of mind. Also put super glue or some other strong adhesive on the threads before you tighten the screws. The person i suspect is 6'4 and 300 pounds and he couldn't get in here. I live in a trailer so i dont have a good door frame. It still protected my stuff.

As far as installation goes, it was pretty easy and straightforward. It is sturdy enough for my needs, but I bought these locks, intending to keep little kids out of my garage fridge. The kids being in fridge isn't the problem, it's the fact that they leave the doors open on the fridge and freezer. I bought these locks thinking, crazily enough, that they would have the same key, but they don't. They are keyed completely different. Anyone would think that if someone was going to buy two locks that they would want both to have the same key. Because I wanted both locks to go on the same fridge it does no good to install both because I don't want to have to carry two keys.

These worked out great for my quail coop. Good quality, nice and strong. Installs very easily.
