Great story and Illustrations!!
I LOVE this book. My 6 year old is really hung up on the story of the three little pigs so I loved this humorous and less dark take on it. Both my 3 year old and 6 year old love it. The illustrations by mark Teague are just amazing! He writes with a sense of humor that parents will appreciate when reading this book over and over to their kids!

A smart 3 pigs book where no one gets eaten
This is the story I wanted to tell my son. A story where the first 2 pigs don't get eaten, but rather find refuge in their smart and healthy 3rd sibling. You come to understand that the wold tried looking for food the normal way and no one wanted to serve him (because he's a wolf), and his hunger gets the best of him when he smells the pigs in their respective homes. The ending is a little cheesy for me, but it's just right for a child. My 4 year old son loves this book and I love reading it to him. The illustrations are also very good and I love the other animals that are included in the pig family.

My daughters LIVE this book! Adorable story, cute graphics with plenty to look at. Story play is an absolute favorite on book “brands” and this is no exception
