The best ones out there and I’ve tried several brands.
The best quality out there. My doctor has given me other brands, but they don’t last as long as these and keep their elasticity. I hope Amazon keeps selling these, because I will keep buying them!

Very firm compression
When I found I had to wear thigh high compression stockings instead of knee highs and also go to a firmer stocking, 30-40mm instead of 20-30mm I was rather apprehensive, but stockings are not as bad as I feared. Not to say that wearing these monsters is fun but they certainly do the job they are designed for. You need to remember they are very high compression but I didn’t find them much more difficult than the knee highs I had been wearing. You do need to take your time and not rush things and 10 minutes per leg is probably a good estimate of how long it takes me to get them on. Once on they certainly do their job and my legs feel so much better. The are very very tight, but the compression feels good throughout the day. I had thought I would need to wear a garter belt to hold them up, but it turns out the silicone dots at the top do a good job and keep them in place. They are made of quite a stiff fabric but they look reasonable and have plenty of room for my toes. All in all I would highly recommend these stocking if you need the very firm compression and will buy them again

Privacy but my legs feel cool and comfortable in full length.
I'm 60. 6'2. About 245. Really long legs. My first experience. I browsed and flagged a few for further review and my wife blindly ordered these really expensive medical grade socks. I was still comparing. I was just shopping. I'll go broke at this rate. YIKES! Ordered in error. They are definitely high quality strong and durable. Hopefully they tolerate sweat.. Here's my situation. My shins look like I played hockey. I thought all the welts and bruises were normal. Every bug that ever bit, left a mark. Including the chigger nest assault.. My ankles were swollen and I had dry patches with wounds that never healed. Every time something brushed my shins, it felt like a knife. Doctor said to wear compression socks. She didn't specify. I ordered the longest strongest available. 30-40 strength over the knees. Ok. These are pantyhose on roids. It took me a few times to put these on. They are a pain in my butt. I highly recommend getting help. Trying to bend over and put these on was a workout. The chance of damage is significant. After 4 installs. 1 has a tiny frey. My swelling is gone. My legs feel cooler yet tolerate freezing weather. Less impact pain. No joint pain. I can pull these almost toy crotch and they stay put, even working hard all day.. Machine wash gentile and hang dry. Sort of a pain. I need these in a discount 12 pack. These seem awefully pricey. Maybe my insurance will cover fully but if not. Ouch.. I dont know if shorter ones would work Just so pricey for me..

Excellent
At first, it was very difficult to wear, but I got used to it on the second day. I have deep venous insufficiency, and it has almost completely eliminated my leg pain.

Waste of money
I followed the size chart after having a medical professional measure me. I had alot of postop inflammation due to knee replacement surgery. I got half of the stocking on before It almost ripped in half. These are listed as medical grade. If you're going to purchase these stockings, go up on size. Update! Tried the XL and they didnt fit any better. I would not recommend this product!

Better than many other brands
So I again bought another pair of these medical grade stockings that are affordable!!! and have a good firm pressure applied all over. I have worn many different brands over the years and struggled with those other brands their tightness being too weak, and they often fall down. These ones stay up better (but all brands seem to fall down during the day anyway). So As a male I found a trick is to shave your upper thigh where the rubberband dots grip the skin on the leg, also rub a damp cloth on those rubber dots as that damp helps them grip better and stay up longer. Also twist parts of the stocking to the left and right as you work them up the leg. This zigzagging helps create a sideways pull instead of just a downward pull. But the best method yet is getting a pair on long tight compression under pants (the ones that go a little down the thigh). as when they cover the top of the compression stockings they stop them from rolling down while walking. I found the also on Amazon by typing men’s compression pants (maybe add the word ‘thighs’ in that Search) Finally buy a pair of kitchen rubber gloves. As a good pair will grip the stockings without your fingernails putting a hole in them as so often happens. Good luck and enjoy this product. Service was super fast too! Thank you Good quality, that’s why I bought more!!

Great compression, could be better designed
These stockings provide adequate compression and help reduce the symptoms associated with POTS. I can notice a difference toward the end of the day if I’ve worn them or not. Giving 3 stars because 2 of the pairs got holes in the heel after wearing one time and another came with a snag that pulled the elastic around the toes extremely tight.

They work for me
This is an odd review to do. Veins started creeping up legs over years and just recently tried these out. This is third brand and no idea how many varieties tried before finding this one. First ones that actually staid in place most of the day with minimal adjustment. As someone who works on feet and doing heavy work most days, it was amazing how much difference these made vs the below the knee circulations socks. Already bought second pair and likely to get more. Feel weird wearing them and when any adjustments are needed, thankfully it is minimal compared to other brands tried and such. For anyone whose calves and quads are larger than knees and so you do not look like those straight legged models, these actually work. Not sure how well they would stay if I worked at a desk, but for those who on their feet, they hold up well.

Thanks to pain in my varicose veins, I had EVLT (Endovenous Laser Treatment or Therapy, depending on which clinic you consult) and was prescribed thigh-high compression stockings of 30-40 mmHg by the vascular surgeon. Originally, I bought 3 pairs of expensive German compression stockings. They are $187 per pair! On a whim, I decided to look on Amazon, after 1 of the pairs developed a run. (Note to 1 reviewer: even the "good-quality" compression socks develop runs after a while!) Bought 2 different pairs of Truform & wondered what the difference(s) were, when they are the same size and colour. This pair, here, have a "stay-up top" that has little silicone "beads" (rounded 2-dimensional disks) that are sewn into the band. They look very much like the beige pair of (expensive!) German stockings I already own. Except these Truform stay up! [The other pair I bought are also Truform, yet they don't have a silicone top & must be worn with Truform's garter belt, which Amazon also sells. These are much better, in my opinion: for $2 more, you don't have to buy an extra accessory just to have stockings that function!] *BUT* the description for this pair is terrible! It doesn't indicate the level of compression (30-40) nor anything about the "beaded stay-up top" that's actually shown on the front of the box. I wear a size Medium, and even though that's what I ordered, the description changed on my order invoice to say it was a size Small! Was worried I'd get the wrong size also. Love these so much I'm ordering another 2 pairs and crossing my fingers I receive 2 Medium pairs as ordered! The description should also give the model number: Model 8848BG, followed by the size's 1st letter: i.e. "S" for small, etc. If you're on the fence regarding the quality for such a low price, don't hesitate: these are really great quality compression stockings/socks!
