I have tried many options on the market and this is the best

My husband finds so many of the hair gels/clays so hard to wash out. Then you can never get your hair feeling truly clean. This Kiehl's washes out so easily, but not at the expense of performance. It is a great clay that has strong holding powder, isn't shiny and is very easy to manipulate the hair. My teenage son also tried it, and he has a vastly different hairstyle and he liked the clay as well. It has been a big hit at our house.

Smells good but it's like putting cement in your hair.

I have longer hair and I usually have pretty versatile hairstyles.I have always needed to use product because my hair is very soft, but I don’t like anything too heavy because then it makes it flat.I’ve tried every type of brand under the sun, but I always get really good results with clay and paste.So when I came across this product, it sounded like something that would work well with my hair and for my style, so I went ahead and placed an order for it.Kiehl’s is such a reputable company that I was very familiar and whose products I have used often, so I knew that it would be quality product.It arrived the other day and I absolutely love it.It has a very light scent, but it is really nice Smelling which I really appreciate.But the texture is what is really great.It is very smooth and not heavy whatsoever.I placed a little bit between my palms and rubbed it together before running my fingers through my hair.It styled my hair perfectlyAnd without a lot of weight so I was able to keep my style exactly the way I wanted it.I added a touch of hairspray to set it into place and the style lasted all day and night.This is an awesome product that I will continue to use and I highly recommend it.You definitely can’t go wrong.I hope my review helps you to make a more well informed decision.

This clay does help my son's fine hair stay in place, but it leaves his hair looking greasy by the end of the day. Usually Kiehl's has great products, but I'm not pleased with this one., especially for the cost.

This is a lighter clay that washes out easily, so if you shower daily can be used every day. A little bit goes a long way for holding casual hair styles and taming fly-aways. If you have hydrophilic hair you'll need something stronger on humid days. Scent is unique, not bad, not good, but not neutral either, probably enough to mask the offensive odors of what it's made with.

This doesn’t provide the strongest hold, but it is enough to last all day. It has a pretty neutral scent. It isn’t a good nor a bad scent. It is just there. I like that it is super easy to wash off. Some of the clay I’ve used in the past have a better hold, but they feel impossible to get out of my hair at the end of the day. This washes off super easy, which makes it much more likely that I would want to use it than the ones with a better hold. I’d give it a 3.8 out of 5 when it comes to hold and a 5 out of 5 when it comes to ease of removal. Overall, I would still give it a 5 star as I feel that it’s above a 4.
