It never ceases to amaze me how critical people may be concerning doing ONE simple thing per day to help their joints, heal their guts, stop inflammation, improve wrinkles, strengthen hair and nails, decrease ugly cellulite, stop cravings, and help their bones maintain strength. Here is the deal: until you may have had TRUE, 24/7 pain and a relentless search for relief, I wonder if maybe the critical reviews by some people are people who aren't willing to sacrifice ANYTHING for improvement proven in so many and varied areas. It takes WORK, PERSISTENCE, and usually a lot of MONEY to find any relief for severe pain caused by neuropathy, arthritis (in at least seven different joints), and so on and so forth. And then, at least for me, even in pain management at a large orthopedic practice, pain is a constant companion interrupting my sleep, my ability to cook or clean, and enough pain so that I am leaving the house only about twice a month! Eight rods in my back, three screws, and a plate (and in which the surgery caused neuropathy in both of my legs and feet from the knees down), two knees in need of immediate replacement, and two ankles, complete with torn tendons, and I could say that bone broth is not worth it because it doesn't taste good to me? ARE YOU KIDDING? At worst, even if you do not like the taste of these easy to prepare bone broth packets could be downed in what? Twenty-three seconds? Maybe the taste has been improved since some of the earlier reviews which tended to dwell on a perceived bad taste. Maybe I am a desperate pain relief seeker. But I do NOT find the taste impossible nor even objectionable. Period. Good grief! I have bought the VERY expensive frozen bone broth, the wax paper coated boxed type of bone broth, and other brands of bone broth, instant like beef or chicken. THESE ARE EASY to prepare. There is no measuring except the water estimate from six to eight ounces! Look, after a few days of two of these a day, your knees and ankles will PROBABLY begin to feel a bit better. Your body now has the nutritional necessities to put collagen between the joint of your sore, swollen, inflamed knees. Your messed up intestines may even begin to heal from years of NSAID's or antibiotics or other harmful things we do to them. Due to the fact that I KNEW I needed an even more simple way to add bone broth to my diet, these packets appealed to me. I even have bought bone broth capsules from another manufacturer, but have wondered if the processing was correct AND if the dried bone broth were even safe. I trust Dr. Petrucci and her products. She wouldn't put up with unsanitary conditions nor a product not containing what the label says it contains. Buy a smaller box if you have any doubts. I went for the whole enchilada of five boxes. I find the broth best with NO additional garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, parsley, and so on......but those are always available for a slight change in taste. Just how people cannot sacrifice anything much (a twenty-thirty second gulp or two or three) in a DIRECT help for so many physical problems or ailments, I just cannot fathom. Perhaps really, really, really bad pain when one has tried just about anything makes one open to improving one's diet for how could we ever be anything else than what we eat? It is what eat which makes every single cell in our bodies. And these bone broth packets "makes the medicine go down," a lot easier! Come on, if you have a LOT of pain like I do, you already know how much money and effort you have put into feeling better just to have any pleasure at all in life. Drink one or two of these packets a day for at least two weeks. THEN write a review....fair? Or are you going to be swayed by people who cannot even hold their noses for a few seconds in a search for a solution to their problems?

First I bought the book, I am 62 yrs old, I started this on 2/26/18 I was 172 pounds, As of 5/7/18 I am now 148 pounds at 5ft8in. My cholesterol was 183 total HDL 24 LDL 147. Now my total cholesterol is 129 HDL 52 LDL 63. I feel fantastic. The first month I did not exercise. Now I walk on my treadmill everyday no less that 2 miles. As for the taste. I add onion powder, poultry seasoning, Mrs Dash & a few squirts of Braggs Amino. It taste fantastic. I have also done a twist with cumin, curry & onion powder. When you add the envelope of Bone Broth Collagen . I find that if the water is Super HOT & you stir vigorously as you add the powder. It dissolves no problem. My husband saw this working for me and he has now started drinking the Bone broth as well. His lost so far 10 pounds. Once we get to maintenance we will still continue to drink this. It's convenient & very satisfying. I can't say enough positive things about this. This is my personal opinion. If nothing else has worked try this. The key is SEASON TO YOUR TASTE.6/5/18 todays weight 143. Would you boil a chicken in water & not add any seasoning and call it chicken soup? No of course not.. Seasoning is the key
