Perfect size, great quality, looks amazing

This replaced my last bowl. It is slightly smaller, but this is a good thing. I use Shaving soap, and the round soap fits better in this than the one it replaced. I also didn’t realize that the old bowl had spring a leak. This one keeps my shaving area cleaner.

The bowl arrived in excellent condition and seems to be well made. The lid is a nice touch which will keep your soap clean when not used.However, the inside diameter is small and will only hold the smaller soap pucks. Soaps which are are in the tins or come in a box are mush larger and will not fit. This was my error when I measured before ordering. I do have the smaller pucks and will use the bowl for them. I’ll continue to look for a larger option though.

A nice shaving dish just the right size

Fairly small compared to what I'm used to, but functional enough. I don't think you'll like it if you like to hold the bowl while shaving as its very smooth, I head shave so no worries for me. Looks great on the vanity

I bought this to hold my refill of Mitchell's Woolfat shave soap- that was a no; the puck doesn't fit. However, the bowl is so nice, I'm using a different soap inside of it.It's easy to hold and wood always looks good.

I wasn’t aware that there are two sizes of “pucks” of soap? I was used to the larger version but having ordered the smaller one by mistake I needed a smaller one. It is very nice looking and very well made. If you need one buy this one!!

When it arrived, the first thing that I noticed was that the bowl is very small. Once I started lathering up soap with my shaving brush, the shaving foam began to spill out over the sides; long before I could get the lather into a thicker state for shaving. Note that I would always rinse and thoroughly dry the bowl after use.After less than 10 uses (can't recall exactly), the finish inside began to peel off. See attached photos. And again, I was thoroughly drying out the bowl after each use.
