Used for water memory experiments
I ordered the QWORK Sterile Glass Petri Dish Petri Plates with Lid,5 Pack, Thicken, 90mm x 20mm. I specifically ordered these to do experiments with water memory by placing water over different images then freezing to see the results. I read that the 90 mm was the best size to use, and I ordered these as I felt they were the best option compared to many others which they are. This set has five of them along with five different covers. There definitely was a lot of thought involved to make sure they were protected in order to get their way to me, which is appreciated. Mine are a decent thickness for what I need, and they seem to be decent quality. I can tell the glass is more breakable than some other glass, but I have more than enough to last since I really only need a couple. I do not need the covers, however, I could use these for larger dishes which means I have nearly double for my work. I'm not seasoned with how petri dishes are supposed to line up, and all I can say is the cover easily goes over. The gap isn't tight, and there's a couple millimeter difference. So far they are working well, and the clarity is nice for what I need to see. I've been using one to two teaspoons of water in the dish, placing it over a picture for 30 seconds, then I keep it in the freezer for anywhere from 5 and 1/2 minutes to almost 10. There are many resources online and different people that share their techniques, and this has been very intriguing and interesting for me. I don't have any complaints, this is a fun hobby and good for all ages, thank you.

Thick glass, large lids
Thick glass, 3" diameter base, are perfect for my use. The lids are 3 5/8" in diameter which is more than ample. The lids sit on the bases. The set is well packaged to prevent breakage. The kids are wrapped in tissue.

Mediocre quality
horrible fitting lids, 4 of 5 were broken as well

Reusable dishes
One lid arrived broken. Dishes all survived the pressure sterilization. Lids are quite a bit larger than the base leaving a large gap. A bit more tricky to seal with parafilm than plastic dishes. All in all, about what I expected for the price. Micropose now sells reusable polypropylene dishes, will probably buy those from now on.

Very Good Bargain
Arrived on time and in good condition; the individual dishes where individually packaged in bubble wrap in a perfectly sized shipping box. The dishes arrived very clean; very nice petri dishes.

Looks good but one was broken
Four out of the five look great but one came broken. They were wrapped individually with bubble wrap and shipped in a box. I think it actually broke sometime during packaging just from that observation.

not well suited for mycology
Bought these for the price. Giving 5 stars because they appear to be good quality glass - they autoclave fine. However as other people have noted there is a sizable gap making them ill suited for agar plates or do plan on using a lot parafilm to ensure they're sealed. I found it a pain and I found a pack of "20Pack Round Clear Frosted Plastic Bead Storage Containers Box Case with Screw Top Lids,Cylinder Stackable Bead Containers for Make Up,Eye,Pills,Gems,Beads,Jewelry,Small Items,2.6x1 Inches" on Amazon for twice the price but much better for mycology and they're autoclavable - although twice the price you get 4 times as many making them a better value.

Good deal
For watchmaking they work great, for storing or cleaning parts, the lid is very loose.

The lid of the petri dish is not a lid but a larger petri dish, and the difference is so great that they do not seal tightly and cannot be made airtight in any other way either. It's completely pointless to try to do a protected cultivation in these "petri dishes with lids". What a joke. Do not buy! You can tape two plates together instead. That's better.

These dishes are still fully intact and working well even after 4+ autoclave cycles, they are sturdy and were packed well.
