Rival Whey Chocolate Peanut Butter 2lb

My wife and I have found that upon waking up, we don't typically have time for breakfast, and a quick breakfast bar or something similar is basically just a bunch of carbs... So we buy protein drinks however those can get a bit expensive. I still prefer them however my wife has found, as odd as this might sound, a scoop of this in her morning coffee with the right amount of creamer actually tastes pretty good, and gives her the protein that she's looking for first thing in the morning. We bought one of those little containers with a shaker ball inside of it, and I put a splash of coffee with the creamer in that container, a scoop of protein, and I've got no clumps whatsoever in about 10 seconds. This stuff dissolves beautifully. And believe me I shopped around because everybody that knows, or has purchased protein before realizes that it is rather expensive. For the price per ounce, this is the best deal I have found. And further research has shown me that this is of a better quality than some of the other brands that actually cost more.

This is a great whey protein and, in my opinion, the best bang for your buck. Sure, there are some that are less expensive but I’ve found the flavor is worse and/or it doesn’t mix well. Rival mixes really well and tastes great.The first flavor I tried was cinnamon toast, but they’ve been out-of-stock for many months. Marshmallow is my favorite and soft serve vanilla is fine. I would be buying cinnamon toast if they ever had it back in-stock but my guess is that it will never be. I contacted Rival months ago asking two things: 1.) when will you have cinnamon toast back in-stock and 2.) why is the price of your whey protein more expensive on your own website than it is on Amazon (a really bizarre thing considering you also have to pay for shipping)? I got no response back. I’ve been buying Rival protein for the last six months and it’s discouraging to see zero response from customer service. Don’t list an email address for customer service if you just ignore people.Aside from Rival discontinuing one of their most delicious flavors, I’m happy overall. Their whey is reasonably priced and tastes pretty good.Rival, according to their website is a company that was founded by the guys that founded Optimum Nutrition. They shouldn’t need business advice but here it is: take a business tip from another successful company, Ghost, and have someone respond back to customer service questions.

I am 54 and I don’t get enough protein daily so I TRY to drink one protein shake daily. If I’m on my game I get about 2 to 4 a week. The cookies and cream is really good but I want to try other flavors though, this one is always the right price when I get ready to restock lol…I hope to make it to vanilla and the strawberry flavor one day…if the price is right lol.I definitely notice a difference in muscle mass retention (I use the protein shake as a meal replacement.) the shakes I make are very filling and Im always full for a long time after.I use the recommended scoop, milk and water, frozen fruits, fresh fruits, spinach, beet root powder, extra virgin olive oil, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger powder, a dash of Cheyanne pepper, and what ever else i have available. I almost always use a whole banana or half depending on what else I’m using. Bananas add a natural sweet that works for me. Play with it and make it your one but try for at least a months using the shake as a meal replacement. Ladies and those looking to maintain a healthy weight do not drink a shake and eat a meal unless you are trying to bulk up.I use to make this for my son when he was in high school playing football and training like a beast. He bulked up because he drank his daily shake or two and ate like a typical teenage boy. He is at University now and still uses this brand.

This is a great powder for the price. In a shaker it mixes well with no clumps, it doesn't do as well in a glass with a spoon. The sucralose to sweeten it actually tastes good and better than other powders that use artificial sweeteners. The ingredients are more complete for better performance than other powders too but it is still missing vitamins like d and b-complex. Using milk helps with vit d and also makes it taste even better

Works well for recovery, good quality. I use a rechargeable mixer. Tastes good for chocolate.
