Oreck Commercial U2000R-1 120 V Red/Gray Upright Vacuum Bundle with Genuine 6 Oreck Bags

My last vacuum( Shark) just died and previous to that my big heavy purple (over priced) Dyson vacuum was not that great. My sister suggested Oreck and figured It could not be any worse that the Shark..To my surprise it was fantastic. Very Light (8lbs) weight just what I needed (arthritis) and recommend by arthritis foundation. It really picks up; and cleans very well.. This is a no frills vacuum. Mind you no extra bag of ( brushes etc) which I never used anyway with the two previous vacuum cleaners. . It is light weight and is very powerful. I highly recommend it. It has a long cord length, very easy to maneuver around furniture and under the bed. I should of bought this brand years ago and saved myself a lot of frustration and money. It does have bags but that is the only minor detail. I can get used to that again. It is a little loud but so what big deal if that bothers you et some ear plugs. It is very powerful watch the fringe on your oriental rugs. I suggest to give it a try you don't have anything to lose. I am glad I took a chance an purchased it.

Bought as a spare vacuum to use on second floor. This machine really sucks. Seriously, I am impressed with the amount of suction produced by this light machine. I have a dog and it cleans hair and dirt off carpet and hardwoods equally with no adjustments. The beater bar does an excellent job of fluffing carpet fibers in heavy travel areas. The filter bag does a good job capturing all of the hair and dirt with minimal smell. The long cord is helpful. I am using this vacuum for all house floors as it works so well and is easy to use. Great vacuum for the price.

I have had Oreck previously and liked it so wanted to have another. This one is so good, lightweight, easy to use and easy to store. But the extra long extension cord!!! It looks like it should be in the garage!!!

Love my Oreck. This is my first one, and I bought it after other Oreck fans insisted on it. We also use Orecks at my office. This is the no-frills get 'em done vacuum. I was tired of washing filters on my bagless and we never really used the vacuum parts anyway. The cord is long enough to clean my entire house from the hallway plug. I use it on hardwoods and carpets. Just pause for 5 seconds when you bring it from hard floors to area rugs/carpet to allow the automatic brush to adjust. The only drawback is that it is loud. It doesn't bother me because it is powerful enough to do single passes and I am done quickly anyway. Glad to be back in no-fuss bagged vacuum world!

Received this great vacuum 2 days early which was pleasant surprise. Decided on Oreck after trying at my sisters house. OMG what a revelation! This 8 lb vac is replacing a 22 lb beast. So light and easy makes vacuuming a breeze and easy to whip out for quick cleans. Moves from carpet to hardwood to vinyl without missing anything. Also vacuums rugs without rumpling them. Lies flat and goes completely under bed. The only slight disadvantage is that being a commercial vac it comes with heavy duty cord which is difficult to manage around rooms of home. But it is detachable so I might look for compatible lighter weight flexible ext cord. And it’s a great heavy duty 40’ ext cord. Also have a dyson hand vac at home which has all the attachment tools we need. I’m completely happy with this Oreck and will never go back to a beast.

I've owned an Oreck Vacuum Cleaner for about 20 years. When I left my ex, I left him the vacuum cleaner. I re-married and my now-husband had a dinosaur-of-a-vacuum that I could barely push. Plus, it was bagless. I HATE bagless vacuum cleaners. They make a huge mess. I'd rather spend a little extra money and buy vacuum bags. The Oreck is my favorite. At only 8 lbs., with bag, FANTASTIC suction, and nothing else....no fancy settings or hook-ups...this is the perfect vacuum for home, office, etc. It picks up dog and cat hair like no other! Plus, there is not special setting going from carpet to tile. This vacuum works on both without that. I would highly recommend this vacuum to any household or office.

Oreck is the only way to go when it comes to a vacuum cleaner. My first Oreck I purchased off QVC and it came with a 10 year, yearly maintenance. So every year I took it to my local Oreck dealer for a tune-up. The vacuum was 15 years old and I really just wanted a new one but the old was still working fine. This Oreck here is light weight and does an excellent job. Only one speed where my other had two but that is fine by me. No front light on this but fine too because all the added costs. My first Oreck was 450.00 and this one a third of that cost. I am very pleased with this purchase and the seller. Cannot go wrong Oreck.

Light weight, powerful and a very long cord..... It's brand new so I don't have may hours of use on it, but it seems to be a simple, well built machine..Also, it's great to have the old style bag system again... Emptying canisters, and cleaning filters is a nuisance, and causes more mess and dust to cleanup.... The bags work fine... It seems there are upgraded bags available that filter the return air better. I have no idea if they really make any difference.
