I have had one of these mini Stainless Steel Strainers for years and was pleasantly surprised to find it offered for sale on Amazon. I bought 4 of these as gifts for my friends because I know that they are great for mixed berries and other small amounts of fruits and vegetables that we use. They also never get old.

Nice enough for price, but thin metal. One handle broke off after kid dropped it on floor. Overalll I wish I’d spent more on the better quality colander. This is ok, perfect size for strawberries, but the quality isn’t that great. Not terrible, but not great either. I feel I still spent too much, considering the handle broke off within a few months.

This excellent little strainer is exactly the size I was looking for, to drain a half pound of cooked frozen vegetables for two. I have one that is the exact same size, but with a long handle, and no base, which made it awkward to use. This unit actually measures closer to 5 1/4 inches in diameter, not including the handles. It is sturdy, and very well made, nice and shiny and looks quite attractive. I had to drain some chopped bacon the other day, that I had browned for a recipe, and using the long handle strainer was quite the balancing act. I held the frying pan in one hand, the strainer in the other, and could have used a third hand to scrape the bacon and grease into the strainer. If I had had this Endurance Baby Colander at the time, my work would have been much easier. It will certainly get plenty of use. The 3rd party seller, BTW, received the order on the 6th....shipped it on the 7th, and it arrived today on the 8th, via UPS...I am one happy camper.

I had been looking for a small metal colander for months and I'd found one that I'd liked but it was over $30. I couldn't talk myself into spending that kind of money for a tool that I was going to use for an unusual purpose. It's for my dog. Ok, it's for my dog's squeaky ball. See, he gets the ball really spitty and muddy and I have to wash it after every walk or else it won't squeak and if it doesn't squeak, he takes it apart to fix the problem. He's male, you know. I got tired of having drying balls on paper towels around my sink so wanted something small, not ugly, and durable where the squeaky balls could dry without making a mess on the kitchen counter. I'm glad I kept looking because I found this little colander. It holds one ball perfectly but will hold three without causing a problem, (that fourth one tends to spill over, though) is sturdy, is of much better quality than I'd expected for the price, and looks really cute next to my sink. It was the perfect find!

We shared an Airbnb with my in-laws in August. They had this same colander in the cabinet and my mother-in-law was so tickled with the size and how perfect it would be for her to wash her berries in every morning so I quickly got online to Amazon and found the exact same one and had it shipped to her.
