I bought the concrobium mold product and used it with this sprayer, and wow! It really works!
I am so glad I got this! All the rain this year has caused a nasty mold problem on my lower floor, as my home is built into a hill. I looked into mold remediation service, but mercy me, that is so expensive. I figured, for less than half the price of hiring a professional, I could get the mold spray and do it myself. Then, I can use this sprayer in the garden and greenhouse after that.I bought the concrobium mold product and used it with this sprayer, and wow! It really works! This is awesome. The fogger is really easy to use. Just twist off the bottom (don't let the washer fall out, you need it) and then fill it with your product. The dial is easy to set from an ultra fine mist to a spray, and it's just a simple on and off. I saved a bundle by using this fogger, and look forward to fogging those aphids in the greenhouse next. Here is the mold product I used.

Pretty decent for home use
Took about an hour to disperse 1 Liter of acetic acid based liquid on smallest droplet size. Pretty loud. The seal seems to leak a bit if you fill it full and don't keep it level. (unless it was the breathe hole) Would buy again, pretty decent. Seems to hit 10-15 ft at least even on smallest droplet size, probably further but didn't test that. Fairly powerful blower. Wish it was cheaper.. :)

Does the job for smaller applications.
This cold fogger worked well. My application was for the crawl space under the house. Some type of small critter died under the house in an area of the crawl space that was not directly accessible. The fogger was used disburse an enzyme based odor eliminator solution into this inaccessible area (approx. 12' deep). The fogger seemed to have enough flow and force to reach back into the area and the rest of the crawl space. An area of improvement could be the availability of an extension hose for the nozzle. Another improvement would be markings on the adjustment knob for the output of the fog/spray. Because the fog can be fine enough to be invisible, output could only be adjusted and estimated by the number of turns of the adjustment knob.

Nice unit
I picked up a rental property recently, and it had a very distinct "musty" smell to it. I learned that a pipe had broken in the basement, and although they got the water cleaned up the mold was never fully dealt with. The mold smell was so bad that for the first couple of days I was getting nasty headaches, and had some eye irritation, as well as a lot of mucus buildup, so I knew I had to deal with things.I mixed up my own mold control solution consisting of 2 teaspoons per quart of soda ash (available in the laundry detergent section of your supermarket), and then 1/8 teaspoon per quart of trisodium phosphate, available at the big home improvement centers in the painting section. I think I was able to do the whole house with about a half gallon of the solution, which by itself save me quite a bit of money.I elevated this machine off the floor to about mid-height in the room and just rotated every three or 4 min. it does leave behind a fine powder on the floor, but it is easily vacuumed up. Quite literally overnight the smell was 75% better, and after a second application and some fresh paint, you would never know the house had a mold issue at all.So, the machine did it's job, and eliminating a mold smell from a property is priceless in my opinion. I can also see using some various disinfectants after tenants leave, as there is always a certain smell left behind. While this machine is a little bit expensive, I know of no other product that will do the job for less money. A plain old garden sprayer doesn't even come close to the fine mist this produces. Perhaps some type of ultrasonic humidifier might work, but I don't think it would put out nearly the volume. So, not stellar quality as it's mostly made of plastic, but it does the job and is very economical with product use. I'm completely satisfied in the results!

Fogmaster Jr 5330
This fogger was recommened for use by with a particluar liquid solution. I purchased this product for this particular reason. The fogger worked for the first day of use then it would stop spraying for no reason then start again. I cleaned it several times but there was nothing to clean since I was only spraying a liquid cleaner with no solids in it. It was therefore defective. I puchased a Wagner sprayer for less money with a terrfic sprayer nozzle and have not had issues with it at all.

good fogger
nice fogger. I use this for humidifying the house in the winter- put it on top of a shelf or cabinet and let it run. It creates a real fog which evaporates before hitting the floor. it takes about 15min to empty the quart reservoir. It's a bit noisy, about like a dustbuster, but not a concern to me. The cord is much longer than shown; roughly 6 feet long.

Simple, inexpensive
It does what it does well. No frills and is an entry level product, but if you need a fogger and don't do this for a living, it's great. I used it to spray mold fungicides (like Concrobium) through a house. I may do it again some day, I may not. For the price of a day of renting a professional machine, this machine did a fine job.

Glad we tried it
I have a beach home in North Carolina, and even though we have nuclear strength dehumidification and air filtering, we're constantly fighting mold. One area that's proven especially difficult to keep mold-free is the ducting connected to our bathroom exhaust fans, and this is one of the areas where the Fogmaster really helps. We turn the fan on and use the Fogmaster to get a good plume of mold killer flowing through the fan and up the ducts...the inside of the ducts have been clean as a whistle since we started doing this.Of course, it's good for all the more conventional uses as well - definitely one of the better purchases we've made in our ongoing battle against the microbes.
