Replacement Parts Locking Ring blender collar, Compatible with Black&Decker Blenders

I was worried I was going to have to trash my Black & Decker blender. This part is a light plastic and finally broke. I found d this part on Amazon. Perfect replacement part. I got it in two days. I also ordered extra blades and gaskets.

My blender is over 8 years old. I accidentally put on top of stove. Forgot stove was still hot. So I melted the bottom. I only needed this 1 replacement part So glad I could find it. I will say it did have one sharp edge inside the center part of ring. That sharp part could have been smoothed off. It didn't effect the use. I haven't tried smoothing off either

It fits well, but the plastic is thinner and softer than the original one( the transparent one) I haven’t use it, but hope it will last for a while. And the scratches inside of the ring make it look like cracked already.

This Replacement Locking Ring blender collar from this vendor is Compatible and a perfect fit for our Black&Decker Model BL1821, the other one we purchased and returned the Boshchen brand stated it was compatible but it doesn’t fit so don’t waste your money and time trying it out.

The base jar fits the BL 1220 Black and Decker blender, which is an old model not even listed on websites for replacement parts.

Mostly it fits and does what it should do.

It does fit my Black and Decker blender but... it is half the thickness of the original base and is a bit flexible. I am not sure this thing is going to last long. Definitely not worth $45. I would expect that kind of quality if it were $10!
