Tiffen 67UVP 67mm UV Protection Filter: A Great Choice for Lens Protection
I've been using the Tiffen 67UVP 67mm UV Protection Filter for a few months now, and I'm really impressed with it. Here's why I think it's a great choice for anyone looking for a lens protector: Protection First and Foremost The primary function of a UV filter is to shield your valuable camera lens from scratches, dust, and fingerprints. The Tiffen 67UVP does this admirably. It's well-built with a scratch-resistant surface and a tight-fitting metal ring that minimizes the chance of the filter falling off accidentally. Double Duty: UV Protection and Clear Images While the UV protection is a bonus, the filter doesn't affect the image quality in any noticeable way. There's no color cast or softening, and it doesn't introduce any vignetting (dark corners) even on wide-angle lenses. This makes it a great option for keeping on your lens at all times for peace of mind. Affordable Protection Tiffen UV filters are known for being well-priced, and the 67UVP is no exception. For around $10 to $20, you're getting a high-quality filter from a reputable brand that will last for years. Overall, I highly recommend the Tiffen 67UVP 67mm UV Protection Filter. It's an affordable way to safeguard your investment and keep your lens looking its best. Here are some additional points to consider: Some photographers argue that UV filters can very slightly reduce image quality. In my experience, this is negligible and far outweighed by the protection benefits. If you're mostly shooting indoors or in good lighting conditions, a UV filter may not be necessary. However, it's still a good idea to have one on hand for situations where dust or scratches are a concern.

Perfect product
Good quality and well-made. Fits perfectly on my lens and the outside metal thread easily accepts my lens hood. I am very happy with the craftsmanship and value.

Good Protection and First Camera Accessory I Purchased
I purchased this filter first to protect my camera lens. Upon receiving my new camera I waited until this filter arrived before I would take the camera off my desk and go outside or anywhere else. Buy something like this and install in front of your valuable lens. Accordingly my camera lens is still in new, pristine condition after the first year of light to moderate use.

Decent for the price.
As an avid photographer, I'm always on the lookout for tools that can elevate my craft and protect my gear. One such item that has become a part of my camera bag is the Tiffen 58UVP 58mm Filter. Let's talk about lens protection. The Tiffen 58UVP filter acts as a resilient shield, guarding against the damages of the unpredictable outdoors. Dust, moisture, and those accidental brushes against nature's elements no longer send shivers down my spine. With this filter securely fastened, my lens remains unscathed, ready to capture the next stunning image. But the Tiffen 58UVP filter offers much more than protection. Photos in the great outdoors, where the sun reigns supreme, can often result in an unwanted blue cast in photographs. This little lens comes to the rescue, combating those uninvited hues. Its UV-protected coating works wonders, allowing me to capture the world as it truly appears, with vibrant colors that remain true to life. This also cuts my editing, and allows for my files to stay less condensed as a result. I'm not compromising the image quality in any way. From the tiniest details in macro shots to sweeping landscapes, this filter maintains the integrity of my lens, allowing it to perform at its best. The filter has seamlessly integrated itself into my photographic journey. With its lens protection, and color correction, has become an asset. It has earned my recommendation. Definitely good for those starting out, or that cannot afford a more high end product!

Great Price
Very good price, to protect your lens, at a great price. I didn't have a 52mm filter, so had to order this, to protect an expensive 52mm lens. Images are crisp and no glare, enhances your photos.

These are essential to street photographers
This filter comes at a fair price and is an essential item for photographers who travel. UV filters don't affect your photos, but protect your expensive lenses and camera sensors from damage when shooting outdoors. It's much easier to replace an $8 filter than a $300 lens. This filter works with the lens cap that came with the lens, but double check the diameter of your lens, as one size does not fit all. I already have a bunch of filters, but my newest lens requires a slightly smaller filter, which is why I purchased this item.

Good budget UV filter, slim and clear
I bought this for a 55mm lens as basic front element protection. It threaded on smoothly, sits nice and slim, and I haven’t noticed any obvious image degradation in normal shooting. The glass looks clear, and the ring feels solid for the price. If you want a simple, name brand UV/protection filter that doesn’t add a lot of bulk, this one does the job.
