Beautiful color and easy at-home application
I’m really happy with this hair dye kit. The application process was easy to follow, and the formula felt gentle on my hair. The color turned out even and natural-looking, without unwanted brassy tones. My hair felt soft and conditioned after coloring, not dry or damaged. Great option for at-home hair coloring with salon-quality results. I would definitely use this again.

Excellent hair color (8N)
A year ago, I tried to dye my completely gray hair with a Garnier Nutrisse box dye--what a joke, all it did was damage my hair. Then, I tried going to a salon to get my hair "properly" colored. The hair stylist was clearly high, and I left with my hair looking worse than when I walked in. Then I went to another salon to get the color "corrected" and paid an exorbitant sum for no real improvement. I have to look professional, so I took matters into my own hands. I carefully researched my options and found IGK. So, I very nervously and skeptically applied it to the disaster on my head and was very pleasantly surprised. The color is darker than what I expected, but it's beautiful, natural-looking, and my hair doesn't feel significantly damaged. It covered my 100% gray roots because I made sure to coat them well and left it on for the full 45 minutes suggested for stubborn grays. The Amazon IGK listings have charts so that you can see what to expect with different colors on gray hair, so I would definitely look at those before choosing a shade. My only tiny gripe is that it was hard to mix properly by simply shaking the bottle. Next time I'm going to stir it around in the bottle a little first with a takeout chopstick and then shake it. Note: If you have a lot of long thick hair, you'll definitely need more than one kit. I don't have lots of hair, so this worked fine for me.

was the product tampered with?
I've been consistently using the same shade of IGK hair color for years, but my recent experience with a new package was quite disappointing. The developer was packaged in a bag, and unfortunately, the product leaked out into it. I wondered if the manufacturer changed their packaging. Despite finding this unusual, I decided to proceed with the application. Regrettably, that turned out to be a mistake. In an attempt to salvage the leaked developer, I followed the instructions to mix the color and developer together and applied it to my hair. Around 20 minutes into the processing time, I checked the color, only to discover it had taken on a strange dark orangy-green hue. Undeterred, I continued processing for the recommended 40 minutes. Upon rinsing the color out, I noticed that my hair was darker than usual, but that was something I could live with, assuming it would correct itself in the next touch-up in a few weeks. However, after washing and styling, I observed that my hair appeared fried, with excessive hair loss. Strands were falling out in alarming quantities, and I've even developed a couple of bald spots at my hairline. Initially, I attributed the hair loss to the changing seasons here in Arizona, but after several weeks, considering the worsening condition of my hair, I am genuinely concerned about the contents of the developer bottle. My hair has become extremely dry, frizzy, and laden with split ends, making it challenging to even comb through. Given this experience, I've decided never to order my hair color through Amazon again. I suspect the possibility of tampering with the hair color kit I received, which has resulted in significant damage to my hair.

A++++
I don’t leave reviews, unless a product is really, really good. This was the first time in over 20 years that I have died on my hair myself. I did it because I don’t have time to go to the salon. This stuff is amazing! I had 3 inch long roots on the top of my head (Dark dark brown roots & my hair is usually bleach blonde). It not only covered all of my roots, but it covered up all of my gray, which I have a lot around my face. Not to mention, the product did not smell like bleach at all, it was not harsh on my hair, it was very gentle on the scalp too. I am beyond pleased with this product. It says to leave in 30 to 45 minutes, I left it in for 50 minutes. :)

Dirty blonde
I ordered beige blonde and received dirty blonde. Used it any ways. The product itself is great. Wish I got the color I paid for 😬

Save your $$$ and try this for beautiful BRONDE color!
The BEST at home hair color I've used. My hair color is naturally dark ash blonde, and I now have grays coming through. My hair seems to take colors on the warm side and turn an unflattering gold color and much too warm for my liking. I've used countless toners to neutralize this (Wella Color Charm in Ash Blonde or even the lavender color). Then it becomes patchy as some of the color saturates and becomes muddy with the roots being neutral and my ends becoming a greyish tone. I saw IGK made this, and I was excited since I trust their innovation. The color is thick and 1 box was able to color my mid-length normal/fine hair. The color came out the prettiest, neutral, modern shade. At first, I thought it was a mid-dark neutral blonde but then in other lighting I noticed the warm hues coming through. They are a pretty warm though, and not a gold/brassy warmth. My BF said it looks as good as better than the last time I had my hair professionally done. I live in Palm Springs, CA and the hairdresser situation out here is ridiculous. Hairdressers who have no business charging $300 for hair do so because that's "the going rate." I lived in Orange County before and was tempted to drive back to see my old hairdresser but then I found IGK Hair color and now I can save money and not have to deal with the hassle. I've been a light blonde my whole life, but the bleaching was damaging my hair and as I've gotten older my hair has gotten thinner so going darker was important to save my hair health. I will also note that I'm about 25% gray now (thanks, genetics) and my roots are covered, blend with the rest of my hair, and I couldn't be happier with my gorgeous hair color now! I may try the 7N color next time as I'm really liking this darker color on me. Wanting to try a modern bronde shade? I highly recommend these to do so.
