I had to create a story sack for this very amusing book, and I was delighted to find this set that contained not only the life cycle of the butterfly and frog which are needed in the story.. but also the lesser known life cycle of the bee. It’s reasonably detailed and robust. I would like them a little bigger for small hands. But I was happy with my purchase and we had lots of conversations around them.

I was looking for a life cycle set to teach my son about life cycles when I discovered this set. Such great value for money to get 3 life cycles.The item arrived quickly and is very well made. The pieces are of a good size so that I can leave my 2.5yr old to play safely.Very happy and would definitely recommend :)

I purchased this for my friend’s son. He absolutely love this and was talking about circles of life.Quality was 10/10!Only one thing the packaging could be better as it just came in plastic bag- maybe simple box would be nice and better for environment.Still, if you are looking for bugs this set is definitely the one to go for!!! :)

The quality of these is really excellent. They are also bigger than I expected. My son loves playing with them and they are also great models for educational purposes. Vibrant colours and excellent attention to detail. I would highly recommend this product. Great value for money.

The set includes 13 different models that illustrate the life cycles of a butterfly, wasp and frog. The butterfly and wasp each have 4 different stages included in their sets' and the frog has 5. The models are all three dimensional, and are well moulded and nicely painted. They are fully detailed on all sides. The figures are not life sized, and neither are they in scale with each other. But each individual model is fairly accurate and well detailed.There isn't any information provided about which models go with which set or regarding which order the pieces should go in. Or even what each stage in the life cycle is called. I still think it's a nice little teaching aid. I mostly got it for the butterfly set as my daughter is Hungry Caterpillar obsessed at the moment, and I thought I could use it when reading her the book. It's a nice set and the models are small but nicely made.

My 3 and a half year old is really interested in frogs so I bought this set for him and he loves it. He plays with the figures every day, they are robust and well made. I would definitely make more purchases.
