Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy J7 Case / J7 Prime Case / J7 Sky Pro Case / J7 Perx Case (2017) - Black

I absolutely love this case! I've blown lots of $$$ on "rugged" cases, usually the thick rubber ones with hard plastic outsides. They always frustrated mex though, because they made my phone feel super thick and heavy, and the plastic would chip, scuff, break, etc very easily.I was skeptical about this case because of its slim design and the "flimsy" material, but let me tell you, I'm glad I took the leap. Its super easy to slip on and off but stays secure when on, and despite not having the super hard plastic like many cases for the Galaxy J7 Sky Pro, it is extremely durable. I've dropped my phone sooo much, and while with other cases these impacts would've damaged the case, this one has only two scuffs on the corner that are so tiny, no one notices them, including myself.I like the sleek design of it too, its very professional looking and classy, yet the style doesn't take away from the durability, and vise versa. I also recommend this case for those who like popsockets/card pockets that stick to the back of your phone! They're very easy to attach to this case and hold strong, but don't damage/stain the case when you remove them.Overall, great case, I love it so much. I dread the day I have to buy a new phone because I won't be able to use this case anymore!

I bought the phone to use as an MP3 player including in my car. I use the Steelie system from Nightize and wanted a case on my phone to mount the Steelie magnetic ring to, rather than mount it to my phone back directly. This case fits the 2017 Samsung J7 Sky Pro sold via Straight Talk (a BF special from Walmart) perfectly. While researching cases for a "Samsung J7" there appear to be differences between the previous models and this year's model. The case really grips the phone tight. Looks like it will protect it well from most accidental drops, but while there is a raised lip around the four sides of the front edge, this is not like an Otterbox that has a built-in screen protector, you need to provide a separate screen protector to protect from scratches. Being a soft, flexible case, I had some concerns that the Steelie ring would not adhere well to it because my previous phone that's being used as an MP3 player has a case with a metal back that has worked real well with the Steelie ring. So far this Spigen case has worked well, but I did help by cleaning with an alcohol wipe first. A bonus is the case is very attractive, its almost a shame that I am not really using this phone as a phone with such a nice case.

The case fits like a glove, is very stylish and I like how they have separate opening for the flash and camera rather than the one big hole for all. My 2 main complaints are. The button covers have material CUT OUT on either side of the buttons which perhaps was done for better clicky feedback, but it just makes it look kind of flimsy. second thing is there is no 'grippy' texture along the edges/side of the phone. So though it is not slippery 'per-sa', it just gives that sensation that it might slip. Have to say, I have not dropped the phone yet. Oh, and the LIP around the face of the phone is very nice, gives good protection from that standpoint.

I purchased another case at first to go with this phone because it was cheaper and I didn't think it would make that much of a difference. Boy was I wrong. The other one was a two piece deal where you put the hard shell on your phone and then put the rubber surround over that to hold things together and that thing made my J7 sky pro SO HUGE that I couldn't even handle it. It was just enormous!! I couldn't deal with that...so I stepped back and since I've purchased Spigen cases for my S7 back in the day that I loved, I figured why not? I loved that case so perhaps this one would be the same way...and I was right. This case is perfect. It's strong...pliable enough to get on your phone without too much trouble...and yet strong enough that it won't slip off easily..and it's THIN. I don't want my phone so huge that I can't fit it in my dang pocket..and there's no reason in this day and age where we have all sorts of compounds that got us to the damn moon and back that a phone should have to be at least twice as thick just because of a case. So...there ya have it. Great case...great price...works well...protects the phone. Would buy again but I know I won't have to. It holds up.

i got a new phone. It was very slippery to handle. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on a case; I just wanted to make it less slippery. For me this case is perfect; it makes the phone a lot easier to handle without dropping. It fits like a glove. I cannot rate durability because I received it today; my guess is that it will be long lasting because it feels very sturdy. It is simple to put the phone into it and to remove the phone from it. It is a perfect fit as to buttons, controls, etc for my phone. It has one very small slot that my phone doesn't need; I suspect there is another phone that this cover fits that needs the slot. For me this slot is a non issue. I am very happy with this purchase.

Recently, I dropped a pretty expensive device and the screen immediately shattered and bled. I didn't really like the phones that much, so I decided to reward myself with a replacement I liked.I'm not usually one for cases. Admittedly I hate them. Never had a case that I liked. They either make the phone feel bulky or awkward or don't look nice or don't feel right. Whatever reason, I knew I needed a case after my tragic accident.I decided to go with this one because the picture looked like the case could be promising. So far so good. I knew it was a good pick by the way it slipped onto my new phone so cleanly. Fits like a glove. Very thin too, and low profile. Grip is pretty good too. I have little to compare it to, but I am happy with the purchase.
