Looks great, comfortable, durable, good size, good price and many uses.
I don't usually review something unless it stands out. This was so awesome I had to make one. I'm actually sitting back, relaxed and using it right now as I write this. I work from home so I'm on my laptop about 3-6 hours an evening (After already working 8 hours at a desk) I no longer have to hunch over and kill my back if my laptop is on my coffee table and my lap doesn't feel like I have pockets full of hot magma in this San Diego summer weather. The best things about it are the removable micro bead cushion underneath, the wrist pads and the large surface. If I wanted to I could use it for other things to. I could keep my laptop on my coffee table and put my wireless keyboard on it (Good if/when using a computer hooked up to a flat screen TV as a monitor), I could maybe even eat bowl of Chunky Monkey ice cream in bed on it, or if rollin' fat doobies was my kind of thing I bet I'd be the most comfortable doobie roller on my block. Soooo, to make a long story longer, this works great for me. *In Jim Carey, Dumb and Dumber voice* "I like it a lot" and I'd recommend you buy this one, you're life may possibly change for the better.

Great Laptop Tray
I was a bit hesitant about the wrist pads/support as I have the macbook air and I thought they might be too high, annoying, and in the way. Well- they provide excellent support and also help your laptop stay in place which is awesome!!!!The cushion at the bottom of the tray is also very comfortable as it molds to your leg's shape and yet remains firm enough to support the tray evenly. I love it because I can sit on my day bed with my legs fully stretched and crossed and still work comfortably (and not hurt my neck).I would be happier if the cushion was just a tad thicker so the tray would sit higher. But I also wonder if it would still be as comfortable as it is right now.The value is of the tray overall is great, it seems sturdy and well designed. The only real complain I have is about the phone's nonslip pad, which is just a tad too small for my iPhone 5 (literally 2 millimeters too small!). Overall a great buy and I would definitely recommend it. Hope this helps!

Very attractive, comfortable lap desk, but the wrist pads are bulky. (Crazy idea to modify them included in review.)
A good, comfortable lap desk. The wrist pads are annoying, I wish I could remove them. They are lumpy and in the way, and actually hurt my wrists sometimes, if I'm not in the right position. The non slip pad for your phone is made more of a foam than anything non slip. It keeps your phone in place reasonably well, but if you tip the desk much, the phone will slide.I'm using this with a laptop, although it is meant more for a tablet. Your computer WILL slide around on this, terribly, unless you have really good non slip feet on your laptop. The feet on my Macbook aren't good enough. I took two of those gel style grip pads, meant to keep your cell phone in place on your car's dashboard as you drive, and put them on the lap desk. This does a great job of keeping the computer in place, although you need to rinse off the grip pads occasionally to get rid of the dust and make them sticky again. (Don't get the type that are super sticky, just a little sticky and grippy).Inspect your desk well when it arrives. Amazon sent this the first time in an ENORMOUS box, with almost no protection, and the veneer on the corner was cracked. The replacement came in good condition. I worried that the veneer might be fragile, but it has been fine so far (although if you drop it hard, I expect it might get damaged). The well made to slip your tablet into has two wide holes in it, which is nice, because you can hang the lap desk on a hook on the wall, if you want it out of the way. The cushion on the bottom seems to be filled with bean bag chair type of beads, and they shift around. This can be annoying, but also means you can mold the cushion into a better shape. It isn't permanently attached to the desk--there is velcro on the desk, and the fabric adheres to that. Brilliant design--you can easily remove the cushion to wash it, or if you wanted to make your own cushion (say, of a wedge of firm foam, covered in fabric), you could do that. The curved edges make it less likely to damage the corners or jab your arms on them, and the curve cut into the leading edge of the desk makes it more comfortable for your stomach. This is definitely a great, comfortable choice for a lap desk. Its one downfall is the wrist pads. They aren't great for keeping your laptop from sliding forward off the desk, and they are bulky and uncomfortable, so I deducted a star for that. Otherwise, an awesome choice.UPDATE 6/26/16:I still like this desk. In fact, it's holding up better than I expected. I haven't had any other issues with the veneer, so it does seem like it was bad shipping with the first desk that damaged it, and not a product flaw. I've used this all day every day, since I work from home, and it's holding up well. The velcro isn't holding the pad well on the bottom, and I'd like to sew my own from firm foam covered in fabric, because the bean-bag style of the existing lap pad is annoying. The built-in foam rectangle for keeping your cellphone in place is starting to wear a lot, and break down a little. My phone is sliding around on it now. Other than that, it's in good shape.A note on the poofy wrist rests: I accidentally sort of melted/compacted one of the wrist pads, trying to lay a pair of jeans against it while I ironed it (stupid, I know, but it wasn't that hot, and nothing happened until I left the iron on that spot too long). Anyway, if you don't like the poofy wrist pads, you might want to try laying a towel over the pad and using an iron on the cotton setting, a little at a time. The result is a flattened pad that is half the height, and with slightly faded fabric. Other than being a little flatter and slightly faded, it looks fine. WARNING: If you try that crazy idea, it's at your own risk, and may melt something. The black color of the pad may also transfer to the towel, so use an old one. I'm going to try that on the other wrist pad, as it is far less comfortable than the ironed pad.Would I buy this again? Maybe. Probably, if I can't find anything better. I'd love one that had a better place to put my phone. Actually, I'd just like a real desk. But this is the next best thing, if there's no room for that!

Keep the heat off of your lap and your neck straight
This is a great lap desk. Not only do you keep the laptop heat from your legs. Your head is straight and your neck doesn't hurt from extended use. I only wish that it were a little wider (I should have read the specs better) so that you can comfortably fit a mouse on the side with a 15.6 inch laptop (I have a Lenovo Y510p). I fixed it by placing a clipboard under the computer to hold it down and now it works perfectly for gaming since I'm not a huge fan of the trackpad. The gel rests on the bottom keep the computer nicely in place and also provide a comfortable resting place for your wrist/forearm. The non-slip surface for the mobile phone is also very nice for when you are using it as a "writing desk". Might actually purchase another because my wife loved it and we have to keep sharing.

Perfect lap desk for my MacBook Pro
After a long period of researching lap desks, I chose this one. I can no longer cross my legs and was frustrated with how I had to keep working on balancing my computer on my lap. That was my main reason for buying a lap deskThis lapdesk is a perfect size for my laptop computer. My phone stays put on the pad meant for a mouse. The wrist pads keep my fingers relaxed. The cushioning underneath makes it a perfect height for computer use on my lap. I feel no muscle tension at all now. A bonus is that it's very attractive, sturdy, and doubles as a writing desk, kindle holder, or food tray when I'm not using the computer. Also, my legs don't get warm and the computer doesn't overheat. I love this lapdesk and highly recommend it. I can think of no "cons", only these "pros"Unbeknownst to me, a daughter has exactly the same lap desk and loves hers as much as I like mine.
