Post Caps 3.5x3.5 inches - 10 Pieces Caps with Free Screws, Galvanized Fence Post Cap / Metal Cap Post Covers

I used these for caps on 4 x 4 fence post, works great. My roof is galvanized, so I figure the color matches. Some look a little rougher but they were easy to put on with the screws provided, looks great and they are sturdy.

I like that it’s just cheap metal. It didn’t hurt my feelings to paint them and they look really nice

I purchased the 3.5" x 3.5" stainless steel fence post caps. The actual fit is 3 5/8" square. Which correctly matched wooden fence posts. So is your wooden post measures 3-5/8" then get the 3.5" caps.One thing I didn't know at first is that the wooden fence posts in my yard are not all the same size. Some are 3-5/8" and other are 4" and a few were an odd size. And they were mixed down the fence line. So you need to check all the posts that you are buying caps for.The stainless steel cap looks good on a weathered wooden fence, see picture. I was not sure how it would look but figured stainless steel would be the best option.The caps are decent. They are shiny smooth and not magnetic. So I believe actual stainless steel. The screws do not look stainless and of course they are magnetic. So perhaps the screws are just iron.The caps fit tight on the post. Which is good because I found the cap is not very deep and the screws would not hold on the post. The top of my posts are weathered to the point that a screws just slips. A new post would work better. Probably better to use aluminum nails and hammer then at a down angle to get to better wood.

These are very bright, shiny and seem to be well-made. I haven’t I stalled any yet although I bought 20 for fencing posts at our campground. For the price and their color (although pretty) I’m not convinced they are stainless steel, but I will have to spray them with clear lacquer either way in order to preserve the high polish finish and I like the value for what I paid.

I purchased 50 of the galvanised variety and they fit 3.5 x 3.5 posts perfectly. I spray-painted my black, 2-3 coats and they turned out great. These are so much better than the plastic chinesium you’ll buy the hardware store for more $$

Great post caps for the money! They are strong won’t dent and easy to install! Love the way they look.

They look great. After converting all of the other metal bits on my porch to white metals, I have been trying to find stainless or chrome caps for a while at my local hardware stores without much luck. Since these are 90 mm rather than 3.5", they are just a hair oversized for 3.5" posts. They will fit snugly onto an old 3.5" cap, or a touch of glue (or non-adhesive spacer (like a bit of a business card) will easily help you keep them in place on top of 3.5" x3.5" posts.

these measure 4x4 on the inside which means they don't fit a 4x4 post because EVERYBODY should know that a 4x4 is actually 3.5 x 3.5 so these are too big and therefore useless.

Muy contenta,an quedado muy bien y se le ve de calidad. Ya os contaré cuando lleven un tiempo fuera con el frio,lluvia y sol. Pero de momento muy contenta.

Goede afscherming van me palen. Dit gaat schade tegen die regen kan aanbrengen. Alles zit er bij alleen zelf aanbrengen.
