Very dispointed to have to return these shirts are they fit and feel very nice, the overall quality of the shirts are very well made, however the neck of these are not a crew neck and more of a women's style wide neck.If the seller makes these with a true crew neck I would defo buy them again.

These are baggy on a 36" chest. Fine for jogging, but not great as a base layer. There is also some slightly shoddy stitching as mentioned in other reviews.

I bought Real Essentials Size Large T-shirts 4 years ago and they became my most favorite shirt BUT!.......BUT!!!!!!I bought 20 shirts 2 years ago. I loved them because they fit incredibly well, kept me dry while I was playing pool, were wonderful out on my Jet-Skis, I could wear one underneath my Down Jacket in the dead of winter. I love, love, love these shirts. When I moved to the Philippines, I brought my RealEssentials shirts size L. A year and a half later I bought 25 more shirts same size L except when I received them they were a size M but they said L. I can't return anything here in the Philippines, so I have to but XL and give these away . It's a disappointment, but they are so comfortable, I will just eat it and make a Filipino happy.

Great shirts. Just a bit silkier than expected.

I am 5' 10" tall and 172 lbs., and old. I wear a 41 suit. The size L fit the way I like. Because some reviewers suggested they were cut small, I bought XL. They were huge, and I returned them for size L. I have work 3 of them for indoor workouts in a temperate climate (low to mid 70s, within 2 miles of the ocean). They were comfortable. And, they look good. They are easy to wash and come out of the dryer wrinkle free.But, they arrived with that chemical smell common to microfiber clothes. Realessentials included a card inviting the user to email them for any issues, but I elected to try self-help. I washed them in Kirkland Free, and the odor diminished. I ran them through the dryer a second time, with a Bounce dryer sheet, and they were much improved. (Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets on microfiber towels. They will lose their absorbency. I don't think it hurt the shirts). Then, I rewashed them with Downey fragrance free laundry detergent and dried them without a dryer sheet. After that, they were suitable for wear. I suspect that one washing with a pleasantly scented detergent might be sufficient.
