Q: Will this stretch to connect a 6.5 pipe to a 4.5 pipe?

looks like that is what is made for: The small inside diameter is 4-7/16 inches and the larger inside diameter is 6 -7/16 inches but it is flexible and should fit tightly in a pipe that is 6 -1/2" outside diameter, smaller pipe outside diameter of 4 -1/2 inches. You may need to coat inside of coupling with watered down dish wash soap to help slip it on. Measure the outside diameter of the pipe you what to couple together...this looks like a fitting that adapts old 4 in terracotta sewer pipe to the newer 6 inch plastic pipe...I'm using for another project myself.. hope that helps

Not the right solution: To do this right, you need a 6 inch to 4 inch PVC reducing adapter, a 4 inch 45 degree elbow, a few pieces of 6 inch & 4 inch PVC pipe, a can of PVC primer, a can of PVC solvent cement and maybe a saw to cut the pipe to size. This is really easy to do.
