Purchased this from Amazon Warehouse for a highly discounted rate and the unit arrived 4 days early in a factory sealed state :). Probably was just purchased and then returned but makes me very happy. Water is ice covered right now but the product looks and feels very solid. Will update later with pictures but seems to be well made and very solid.

Good idea but......
The attachment pads are hard and to not form well/ at all to the curve of inflatable boat sides. I tried to put them on after heating them with a heat gun to mold and bend them to fit. That did not work. The lips of the pad never conformed. Luckily, I only tried one pad and had to carefully remove it with solvent and pressure. The idea behind this mount is great, but the pads are less so. There were no instruction detailing how to make the pads form on curved surfaces. They would work well on flat attachment surface.
