I am very happy with this purchase. I've been trying to convert to rechargeable batteries, and bought this to be able to charge more batteries at once. I initially had an issue with one of the ports not lighting up, so I contacted the seller. I have to say that I have NEVER received such amazing customer service on Amazon, and that's very important to me. It's rare to find a company like this. They responded immediately, despite being across the world. They asked me a few questions in response to my concern. They were never condescending, nor did they blame me for this issue. They suggested a few tests, and in the end, said they would send me a new charger. I received it the next day! I cannot say enough about how great their product and their customer service treated me--they were kind and respectful, and fixed the problem without a long drawn out battle! I would reccomend this charger to anyone. Thank you very much to those who helped me, it means a lot!

Works as shown but a little slow, still good buy

Works great. All AA Batteries fit fine. DOES GET WARM IF YOU FULLY LOAD. THE CORD IS TOO SHORT! Unless you're going to put this on a counter right next to the plug, the length of the cord is way too short. It lost a star for that... It's a big inconvenience. Charges an entire row but it takes about a day (not 24 hours, more like 9 or 10). Charges a few at a time quickly. I'm happy with this (I wish I would have done this sooner instead of fumbling around with my simpleton two or four charger 🤦🏼‍♀️). I have under the counter tap lights, they each take three. Every Friday I pull them all out and charge them all at once. This gadget has improved my quality of life lol. I leave it plugged in all the time (when it's unloaded) it does NOT get warm unless you're charging a bunch of batteries at once. But all the green lights will stay on, so if you're annoyed by lights at night know that it's very bright! I kind of like it because it serves as a night light in the dining room lol. Sidenote: Beware if you purchase batteries that are off brand on Amazon! While they will fit in this and charge, they might be different sizes oddly enough... So be careful with small compartments with a battery gets inserted like a computer mouse. 👀

I am revising my previous one star review to five. It was my fault completely in not using this charger correctly. How hard could it be you wonder? Not difficult at all, but I, and co-worker, were not catching the AAA battery on the little notch in the slot, so it wasn't engaging. Ridiculous actually, that I was in such a hurry and didn't stop for a moment to look more carefully. And I rarely write reviews, why that day went bad I'm not sure. The customer service was very quick to respond and followed through with a clear video. I'm impressed with how thorough they were in making sure everything was working properly. I apologize for my previous outburst. Lesson learned and it won't happen again. So far this has been an excellent product!

I'm making this review because there seem to be a fair share of people who may not understand how this works. You can not recharge disposable batteries. You will have to purchase rechargeable batteries. I bought the same brand but any brand would work as long as they say "rechargable". Initially it took nearly 4 hours to charge everything. When fully charged, I disconnect it and use what I need. Often many onused batteries stay on the base but I do unplug it. When the batteries I'm currently using run out, I will replug it in and give about 20 mins or so to the batteries I haven't used just to give them a little boost from sitting unused. The batteries I have used will obviously take much longer to fully recharge. This base holds bot AA & AAA sizes. This is probably one of the most convenient and money saving items I've purchased on Amazon. It feels like such a shame that this product has some disappointing reviews for no fault of its own. I do recommend maybe the company add something that clarifies it does not recharge disposable batteries. It doesn't seem obvious to many people. I use a ton of batteries for interactive toys for my cats so they are used and switched out quite often. I am even ordering a 2nd one just for AA since I use those most. Hope this helps someone.
