I purchased this in Utopia, which is a bright orchid color, and the color swatch posted online is an accurate representation of the color in real life. The color is long-lasting and my lips did not feel dry at the end of the day. So far I haven't had any issues with feathering or color bleeding even though I don't use a lip primer or lip pencil. I find this very easy to apply.I have dark hair, dark eyes, and am light to medium in skin color with warm and neutral undertones, and a bit of yellow and olive. My "go to" lip color has always been in the red color family even for my typical everyday look, and this was my first purchase of a lip color in the purple color family.

Good quality. Great for $10. Don't pay more.

When you first apply it, it looks nice. But I am a lipstick enthusiast and I've got to say for $20 this product is a waste of money. If a lipstick is over 10 dollars I expect not to have to wear anything under it. Instead, you put this on and your lips will get very dry and cracked. That means this is not something you can wear everyday, unless you first have to put another moisturizer on and then this, which defeats the whole purpose. I purchase other lipsticks from NARS, Yves St Laurent, Kat Von D which are in the same price range and moisturize your lips and are amazing. Despite the $20+ cost, I wear them daily and can say it's worth that amount if I wear a lipstick all the way down until it's gone.

I bought this lipstick thinking that it must be safe. After all the label lists it vegan and cruelty free. But it's just vegan, not free of artificial dyes or colors. Here are the ingredients in the lipstick (for this fuchsia shade) as found on the lime crime website. Consistency was quite thinProduct quite expensive

Undoubtedly the best matt finish lipstick. No liner needed, no mess, no chapped or caked feeling. Easy application with full coverage. It dries extremely fast. Some people don't like that but, for me I have no time to waist. I also used MAC lip primer for added moisture and comfort.

I'm a nice tan color and this looks more pinkish on me than purple, dries VERY matte.

I love all the velveteen colors from lime crime..the most important thing is to put it right on the lips coz it's hard to come off, it's matt yet not dry, it won't dry your lips..looks very good and that velveteen texture makes it sexy...
