It works excellent. I have used it several times times. Always carry it on my motorcycle and street rod. When your friend needs a jump start don’t use your vehicle that has all kinds of computers that could short out.

Got this unit and charged it up with the included USB-C cable. Simple to operate.I left the lights on my Honda CR-V for about an hour while at home. This way I can test how it works on a dead battery BEFORE I am away from home, where I could plug in the battery charger.Battery was so dead that only thing I heard with the chime when I put the key in and tried to start. Car would not even try to turn over. Hooked up the unit , simple to do, to the battery and got in and immediately started up the car., then immediately un-clamped the booster unit from the battery and turned off the car. Let it sit for a minute and tried to start the car. The car battery "tried", but was unable to turn over the engine to start. So, hooked it back up again to the battery booster, and car started right up.Afterward, I hooked up the car battery to a battery charger I have, and it was in a safe place for me to charge the car.Bottom line is, I and my wife now have complete confidence that we can start our car when away from home, if needed. We had been at Walmart earlier in the year and wife left the key on and lights on while I shopped and didn't realize that the lights were still on. Battery was dead when I came out and if WE WOULD HAVE HAD THIS UNIT, it would have started up. As it was, I pushed the car a bit and using the gears to turn over the motor, was able to start the car. I was fortunate that it was not parked up a hill or that would not have been a solution (stick shift auto ie Not automatic transmission)So It works as it's supposed to. NICE little case, with hard shell and a zippered enclosure for the battery clamp device which makes it very nice.Only thing that doesn't work is the built in compass. But, I did not buy it for a compass, and could care less if it worked. I bought it specifically to start a car if needed. It also has a light, that I would assume would last a long time, if you needed it to change a tire in the dark.Good product!

The alligator clips are mostly made of plastic. Mine came apart at the hinge the first time I used it and allowed the spring tensioner to fly out. I was working in 2-1/2 feet of snow so the spring was gone forever. I ended up using a clamp from a different battery charger to hold the jump start clamp to the battery post so I wasn’t stranded, but it sure could’ve been a serious problem.I plan to work with Amazon and/or the seller to obtain a replacement part. I’ll update this review after I see how that process plays out.Otherwise, the actual battery pack worked very well. The battery in my Sequoia was dead dead and had been subjected to sustained temps well below zero. The battery is most likely ruined and was zero help in starting the V8 powered SUV. The SUV wouldn’t idle and kept dying, so I used this battery pack to start the vehicle AT LEAST a half-dozen times… and probably closer to a dozen times. It had all the power in the world and is still showing 4 blue dots of charge—full charge—a couple of days later.If I could find a good solution to the cheapie plastic alligator clamps, this thing would be an absolute winner. It just bums me out to spend money on a new product and then spend more money and time to fix what is probably 50 cents worth of parts if they were incorporated in the initial manufacturing process.UPDATED REVIEW AS OF 02-07-2023:I added a star because the seller replaced the broken clip and I'm back in business. It didn't take long for them to do it and I didn't have to argue with anyone to get it done. I really appreciate it when a seller will step up! Thank you!!I still won't give the full 5 stars because I think having plastic at the hinge point in the clip is a bad place to save money on the design. It's visible in the pictures so I guess I should have seen the potential flaw. In the end, I still have a very powerful/capable jumpstarting device, I'll just have to exercise extra caution now that I'm aware of its weak point. Not the end of the world!

Easy to use. Great value. The charge last for a few months. Also small and compact. Have jump started plenty of car with it.
