Hurray!! Great for scaly swollen eyes/ contact dermatitis!
This is a wonderful product. It is a part of my three prong plan to keep my eyelids looking normal. When I use certain products or touch certain items and then touch my eyes, I have trouble with my eyelids turning into unwanted, crypt keeper, dry, pink, swollen, scaly catastrophes. ACCK! It's really scary looking. I believe it is called contact dermatitis and it is not a pretty sight! If you're looking for a game plan try this one of mine. It does work:First, I use a daily five minute warm wet compress on my eyes.Second, I sprits this product on morning and night on clean dry eyes to prevent unwanted crypt keeper eyes. Be sure to pat your eyes dry before applying or you may experience stinging.Third, I do my best to avoid my triggers- dust, petting cats then touching my eyes, several eye creams, false eye lash glue, oil based eye makeup removers, certain fragrances etc. It’s a daily battle, but this product really does help stop the reaction. I am glad I found it. I am diligent to keep it on hand. I don’t want to be without it. I wish it was a little less expensive. Once I realized I would need to keep using it on a regular basis, I started buying the big bottle to save a few (about 10) dollars.UPDATE: Note after using this product successfully for about a year: I recently got brave enough to try some new products. If you've ever suffered with this condition, you know how scary it can be to try something new on your eyes. And if you are like me, you are horrified you'll have a bad reaction right? Well, I got educated about our natural moisture barrier for our skin. (See Dr. Stacey Shillington on Youtube) I learned that soaps that foam deteriorate the barrier and open you up to problems like contact dermatitis and acne. Of course foaming soap is what I have used for years. So I slowly switched over and started using Organic Jojoba oil on my face. There are great videos on oil cleansing on youtube. Check them out for more info. At first, I wouldn't dare put it on my eyelids. But after about 6 weeks, I saw my skin on my face improve drastically and so I started testing the oil on the corners of my lids. No reaction!! :D I then moved on to using it on my eyes daily. Within a month I saw a difference. My lids felt softer, moister, less itchy. So I started using an eyelid primer and then eyeshadows with no reaction!! I believe the Jojoba oil is repairing my lids!! and keeping them from reacting. Now let me say CLEARLY--that I still avoid my other triggers and use the warm compresses and lid and lash cleanser daily, but I am thrilled to be back in eye makeup. If you want a list of what I am using on my eyes in addition to the spray and warm compresses here it is:1. Cliganic or Levan Rose Jojoba oil (both sold on Amazon)2. Too Faced Shadow Insurance (eyelid primer)3. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream (to moisturize under eyes and on the sides of my eyes only--not on lids)4. Tarte Eyeshadow in flirt palette5. Blinc Mascara (creates mascara tubes not paint)Hope this helps. Everyone is different so these products might not work for you, but if they do--I am glad I could help! Wish I knew about the oils for improving my moisture barrier sooner! I should also emphasize that I used just the spray and compresses until my eyelids looked completely normal and then I slowly added these other products one at a time so I would know if any were a problem. Best to you in your quest for beautiful lids! :)Jan 2020 update:I had my first break out on my eyes (left eye) this month. It’s been almost 2 years since I had any problems using the plan listed above.. I want to say that I had let up on my wet warm compresses and spray. I was still using them, just not every single day. Then I caught a nasty cold two weeks ago and I think with my immune system was down Thats when the wretched small red scaly spot popped up on my left eye. I immediately went back to daily warm compresses and using the spray More diligently and backed off all my eye makeup products and oils except for my mascara. I applied a tiny amount of Cortizone 10 to the spot and it cleared up within about four days. I don’t recommend daily use of Cortizone because I hear you can go blind from over use on eyelids.. So if you do use it only use a tiny amount for a very short period of time—less than a week. About a week later someone brought me a bouquet of beautiful Roses and pink stargazer lilies, which I put in my bedroom with me and shut the door. I woke up the next morning with crypt keeper swollen pink eyes!! Ack trigger alert!I’m sharing this update with you so that you know if you start coming down with a virus you should probably be stricter with your a three prong plan to prevent any problems. And to let you know that things like flowers can be a trigger. For me it was the stargazer lilies. You might think twice before you shut yourself in a room with them all night. Well hope that helps.

Helpful for Dry Eyes
I have dry eyes and this provides some relief. It immediately soothes my eyes (even though it is my eyelids that get sprayed). The downside is that it doesn’t last very long.

Okay, but no miracle
I purchase this at the recommendation of my eye doctor due to excessive blockage of the oil glands in my eyelids. I have very sensitive skin, but it did not irritate it so that's a good thing however it also didn't seem to do a lot to help with the blockage. I'm using this in conjunction with warm compresses, washing my eyelids well, etc. It hasn't hurt me, but I don't think it has helped tremendously either. Also, my eye doc recommended using two pumps per I on a cotton pad, when I do that the pad is practically dry when wiping my eyes which then irritates my skin. I often close my eyes and do one pump on each side and then an extra couple of pumps on a tissue and then gently wipe to try to clean my eyelids. For now I will continue to use, but I'm inclined not to repurchase.

Reliable and Effective for Dry, Irritated Eyes
I’ve been using the Heyedrate Lid and Lash Cleanser Spray for several months now, and it has worked wonders for my dry, scratchy eyes. I’ve purchased this product six times from Amazon without any issues, unlike some of the negative reviews I’ve seen. I simply spray once on each eye, and the soothing, gentle formula provides immediate relief. It’s a fast-acting solution that helps reduce irritation and dryness. A single bottle lasts me several months, making it a great value for the price. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and effective way to cleanse and soothe their eyelids every day.
