Goblin: The Lovely and Great God (PK Korean drama, English subtitles with deleted scenes)

Magical, beautiful, brilliant series. Definitely worth watching more than once. Goblin engaged my attention from the beginning through every episode to the end. I like hearing the original language and reading English subtitles.

Ever watch a movie you didn't want to end?? This is one of those. A complex story that you may find takes more than one viewing to grasp. So many "aha" moments tied to reincarnation, the relationships karma creates in each incarnation from the past deeds, and the price we pay for violence in future lives to clear the negativity it leaves behind. The performance of the cast leaves memories of contemplative dialogue that causes one to pause to question why you believe as you believe.....act or respond as we act and respond.The soundtrack is equally compelling. Not a quick view but one to savor and stop periodically to reflect on what just happened. The layers of the performance can take some time to unravel. The cinematography is breathtaking with well-known actors who deliver performances you forget the other movies you have seen them in. Caution....this is NOT a movie for children or for closed-minded individuals who think they have life or afterlife "all figured out". But, if you are seeking diverse understandings in a captivating film...this may be one for you to consider.

I have heard references of this for years now. I sat down to watch the first episode and found myself putting in the third disc before I remembered I needed to eat something. An incredible series that had me laughing, crying, and paying ever closer attention to details as some would come to play important roles later in the series. Fighting the urge to watch it again so soon to finishing it. Highly recommended.

I bought this series a little over 6 months ago. Finally got to getting through the series halfway and found a couple of the episodes just cut off and wouldn't play. So I contacted the company to see if they would be able to help and told them which disc it was. It was a long shot with how long it had been since I had bought it, but I tried.They got back to me and offered to send me a replacement disc if I confirmed what my address was (since they no longer had it in their files with it being over 6 months ago) and sent me the disc. Just got the disc and am paying it now. Works wonderfully so far. Thank you so much to this company!Also the series is very good so far and I would highly recommend it!

Disc 4 came with some damage and I can't see two episodes (14 & 15)

I discovered streaming Kdramas during the quarantine period. I now prefer them to what Hollywood puts out.People raved about Goblin online but my streaming service didn't have it. I normally don't buy DVDs but curiosity won out. Boy, was I delighted!! It had everything. A great battle scene, comedy, drama, love (not lust), betrayal, twists, beautiful photography, friendship, forgiveness, redemption, consequences, and cast chemistry. I will enjoy re-watching it for many years, the story is that good!
