CREWTOWER Coil Siding Nailer CN565B, 1-1/4-inch to 2-1/2-inch Pneumatic Siding Nail Gun for Siding Sheathing Fencing Roof Decking

I purchased this for a DIY cement siding job. I'm using 1 1/4 nails which are a bit short for the canister. They need to be spaced up another 3/4 inch. I think that this causes the nailer to not always advance the next nail, so it sometimes shoots a blank. I may make another spacer to put in the canister Occasionally, it doesn't fully seat the nail but that may due to my technique. The instructions are pretty short of what you need to run it. It took me a bit to figure out how to load it. You may want to take the first nail out of your spool to make sure that the collator plastic feeds through the nailer properly. One time the plastic jammed against the exit path making it difficult to open to fix it. I'm running it at 90psi which is working for my application. I wish there were more pictures in the manual. I wonder how a higher quality brand would compare.

Straight out of the box the device looked sound and well made but the instruction manual was very vague. In the instructions it would reference an operation without a diagram to detail what it is you are supposed to do. For a first time user that would be more helpful. It also doesn't cover trouble shooting problems or any one to contact if you have a problem. My biggest complaint is that It would constantly double feed. I regulated the pressure accordingly, lowered the depth adjustment and set the nail support plate to the correct height. I was lost for answers and no one to contact for assistance. I would have considered keeping the product if it was more user friendly and there was help to better understand how it works better. I want a Coil Nailer like this so I will probably try another manufacture.

This tool had a good price and is working perfectly for commercial work. I love it

Although not the cheapest, and certainly not the most expensive, it did not advance nails as it should. Consequently one had to continually open the chamber and advance the nails manually which defeats the efficiency of the nail gun. I returned it for a refund and purchased a more reliable unit of the same type.

I really Needed this tool to Work ... Having a New tool Jam and Not Work again On its First Day. .. is Embarrassing.
