One of the best theme park games out there
We've been looking for a board game that features roller coasters but is also fun and accessible. This one is beautifully produced and has solid mechanisms. The gameplay does depend on other players at the table, you have to formulate a unique path to victory or else you'll be constantly be competing for spots on the board with other players. In my opinion, this is a fun type of challenge and the theme and artwork make it even better. There are lots of cute details, like the ride cards flipping over to be posters advertising the rides, and the rides only having a name on one side, so you can imagine your own names for rides. Highly recommend!

Solid Worker Placement Game.
Great game with terrific table presence! It’s a clever mixture of worker placement and tile placement, with a great theme (carnival/ amusement park building. ). Only flaw might be longevity. So far, the strategies to victory are pretty obvious. Hence the 4/5 stars.

Missing a Worker
We just opened this for Christmas and discovered there are only two of the three gray Worker meeples. It is too late to return but is it possible to get the missing Worker piece?

Solo mode is a bit stressful
TenPenny is an easy game to learn but can be a bit stressful because every single move counts and it’s very tight. (Especially when you’re playing against Becky - the virtual player from the solo mode). It may take awhile to set-up/take-down with all the different components which are all of great quality. This game is more like a filler game but it’s not as fun as Roller Coaster Tycoon.

a slight polyomino game
This game is fine, but it is very light and not much to it. It's kind of a mix of Barenpark and Fun Fair. It's basically worker placement but the spots you can go are very limited and not very interesting. You either build an attraction, clear some trees, expand your land, or get some more money. Pretty basic with not much strategy. The tracks along the bottom are pretty slight and don't do much for the game outside of giving one point or the first player component to the other person. The components are all nice, thick cardboard but I can't help but think this game could be cheaper if they used a little thinner cardboard. It's pretty pricey for a entry-level game with not much strategy involved. I'd hold off until the price drops as it surely will. I don't see this game being a huge hit despite the buzz around it.

Wonderful game
This is a great game. It plays fast and tight. The 5 months/rounds come really fast so you do not have a lot of time to make decisions. The theme and art and look of the game are fantastic. You get high quality components. The rule books is well written and this game gets to the table fast. There are a lot of decisions to make: build, influence tracks, taking out ads, end game goals, but not a lot of time. Despite all the components this is a very fast game that is over before you know it. The game looks bigger than it is. My only issue is that the set up can take a bit of time. There are a lot of pieces to set up. The game looks heavier than it is. Really fun game with great components and theme.

If "Rollar Coaster Tycoon 2" was a boardgame...
Tenpenny Parks is essentially "Rollar Coaster Tycoon 2: The Board Game". If you have any nostalgia for those old PC games, I highly recommend checking this game out, it plays very similarly. It plays in about 30-40 minutes with an experienced table, and is one of our new game night staples. It shares a common theme with other top boardgames such as Wingspan, where each player is working on optimizing their own board with a pool of common resources. Since there's no cutthroat PvP, you can totally come in last place and still have a good time. The replayability is great as there's so many different viable strategies and which ones work best change each game, we've seen several totally different ones win. It comes with a lot of game peices, but they provide a bunch of little bags to neatly wrangle them in. Tenpenny Parks is a well-designed, well-thought out, well-executed game with a blast of nostalgia. Very impressive from such a small publisher.

Gorgeous and brilliant tile placement game
Thoroughly enjoy this game from its gorgeous artwork to its strategic gameplay. The puzzle aspect of non adjacent tile placement makes for a challenging and fun experience of building your theme park. There are many strategies woven together seamlessly that makes you really think what you should do each round. Very high replay value as you try to use different strategies each time you play. Highly recommend this to add to your game shelf!

Thematisch sehr stimmig. Was dank Internet aber kein Problem darstellt. Last but not least sind die Karten/Puzzleteile ja sogar die Bäume recht begrenzt.
