Nice but not great
I like the idea of this but returned for the one with the protected gaurd on the bottom....harder to complete the job with this one! Couldnt push the core through all the way and don't want my fingers near the sharp part! So return for the other version which is much better

Works great, easy to use
I looked through just about every single apple slicer available on Amazon, and I ended up going with this one because (1) it cuts fruit into 12 (not 8) slices, which imo is a much better size; and (2) it had a pretty high average rating and didn't have any more horror story reviews than any others (virtually all of them have at least one one-star review with a picture of a broken slicer and a bloody hand!). I've always been a bit cautious with it now since I'm terrified of cutting my hand open, and it's true that it doesn't quite feel sturdy enough to just slam it down on any apple at all, but it works great if you just take 5 seconds to cut. I've had no complaints at all. It's not crazy sharp, I guess, but I haven't had any real issues cutting any apples yet, and it fits all the big apples available at my grocery store. Cleaning it is simple.Bottom line: don't put your full weight on it all at once and I think it's fantastic! :)

意外にいける
本当に切れるのかなと半信半疑でしたが、結構きれます。最後はむしりとるようになりますが、一般のものよりも細めにカットできるのでありがたいです。

Cuts almost all the way through!
This is a pretty good slicer. I haven’t used many but this cuts the slices almost all the way through. The very bottom is still intact but you can just pull the pieces apart at that point. I would recommend it. More convenient than cutting up individual slices.
