Great book, so many standard soups that are easy to make.. for me I wonted daily soups nothing fancy or hard and I found this book ticked that box. It also uses clear English making it easy to read and it has clear lists of the ingredients needed to make your soup. I’d recommend this as a starting book for all.

Really useful cook book. Basic recipes with British measurements and ingredients. Will use it a lot.

Great book - so far, all tasty, really easy to follow, practical layout and everyday ingredients! Works really well with the soup kettle. Recommended already to family who have also bought it.

Good selection of recipes easy to follow

OK, first things first. The recipes are fine. I know how to make soup but needed a bit more in the way of inspiration for combining ingredients and especially like that this book assumes the ownership and use of a soup maker machine. I got mine some years ago and tbh haven't used it a lot. One issue is the limit on the amount you can make - that Max mark is alarmingly low down in the blender goblet! Even the quantities here are a little big for my soup maker but at least I can now get the proportions right so the soup has a good flavour. However, the big caveat is that this book won't download onto my actual kindle. I am having to use a tablet. This is not always convenient, but more to the point I ought to be able to read a kindle book on a kindle! Plus who is to say I even have an alternative device? I suspect, though I haven't tried it, that it will also struggle to work on a phone. The formatting is quite large, so I imagine that's the issue. I think the book ought to be revised somehow to fit the device it's being sold for.

I absolutely love this cookbook! I bought a Phillips Soup Machine that came with a number of recipes but I wanted more. I am so happy I didn't let some reviews deter me. Some said it was not good for Americans because it suggested odd ingredients. I didn't see any unusual ingredients. I did see a couple of recipes with the French words for eggplant & zucchini, which are typical if you cook a lot. Another said there were no photos, I don't need photos of soup. One review mentioned there were odd measurements but recipes often use grams instead of ounces, all you do is Google to convert. I do it all the time while baking for perfect weights. Someone said the print was large & the pages were not glossy. I don't need glossy pages but I do love the large print. Someone said there were no exact measurements, like medium carrot or medium onion. These machines require you to place ingredients to a minimum & maximum line, you must be flexible. People that really cook often ignore exact measurements anyway. We like to add more of this & less of that, switch this for that. A cook book is about giving you ideas to make it your own with some suggestions. This is a wonderful book & my review says it's a winner !! Buy this book!!

This recipe book has a bunch of recipes that are almost the same, with the exception of the main ingredient.

Love this book, I’ve used it every day since I received it a week ago.
