My 9 year old loves these books!

The Time Warp Trio books are awesome. They are more complex than you would think (from their small amount of pages) and I read one aloud to my sixth grade class. We laughed aloud a LOT, and lots of kids read other books in the series independently afterwards. It is fun for them to pick up quick books that they can finish in a day or two. These books are definitely appropriate for fourth and fifth grade as well; they are just a lot of fun.

These books are really nice, but my daughter has already read a bunch of the magic tree house books and these are just too much like them.. she thinks these are funnier but the idea has no sparkle for her any more.. but I would recommend these books if you haven't started reading the tree house series..

I fell in love with this series as a child, and bought this set on an impulse to evoke those tingly, nostalgic feels. BUT to my dismay, they arrived with updated cover art (does not match what the image shows - I attached what arrived for reference). However, it does feature the original art inside, but I mainly wanted these books for the original cover art. I'm guessing they updated the cover art because the originals were peculiar and somewhat creepy - which is what I absolutely adored about them.
