Fits perfectly and actually cups the ear better than the original. Sound is the same if not even better when bass boosted. Only complaint would be the pry tool is a little weak as it bent when using but that’s secondary. Soft on the ear and feels great.

My WH1000XM3's outer pads deteriorated, and the grey foam spacer inside the headphones also degraded. This kit includes both the earcup pads and the interior grey foam spacers. Installation was easy with the provided tool. Digression: For anyone who has encountered the occasional static noise during noise canceling it turns out it is caused by water condensation inside the earcups on the screws (recessed screws, not the ones near the earcups). I didn't believe it until I opened it up and saw water pooling around the screws. The water causes capacitive coupling to noise-canceling circuit, thereby introducing static noise. I took the opportunity to cover the screws with thin tape to prevent future condensation.

Pros: Considerably cheaper than other replacements sets here on Amazon, and unlike other sets they include the underlying foam which goes in between the pads and headset. Cons: Noticeably less foam inside the pads themselves and cheaper feeling materials, if you have big ears this may become a problem as you may end up scraping against the insides of the headset. Overall worth a shot if you are on a budget, and if they don’t feel right you can always rely on Amazon’s return policy.

So glad I found these! I started having issues with my ANC and hearing a loud buzzing and popping in my WH-1000XM3 headphones. I love these headphones, and was not happy they were "going out...". Almost bought the newer WH-1000XM4 or WH-1000XM5, but saw these replacement pads. I didn't expect the pads to be the issue as mine looked brand new, albeit they were super squishy now and didn't hold their shape very good. Got these replacements, took 5 minutes to snap the old ones off, snap the new ones on, and my headphones are like brand new. No more buzzing or loud pops!! Highly recommend these, they look exactly like OEM and fit perfectly.

These ear pads do the job. At the time of writing, these are also way cheaper than Sony's replacement pads. Is say they are comparable with the original, with maybe a tiny bit more sound leakage. As the image preview shows, it comes with an installation tool. Look up a video on how to do the actual replacement, it's not intuitive, and can take a lot of fiddling.

Nobody can't tell the difference and it brought new life to my expensive headphones for cheap.

I can hear everything now. All the constant repetitive sounds that these headphones have cancelled out completely are now only muffled. It's like my $350 headphonesgot turned into $50 headphones. I'll need to buy more pads from a better company.

Bought another brand name replacement for my WH-1000XM4 ear cushions and was not impressed with both comfort and noise cancellation. Then took a gamble on these ones. First impressions were much better than the other brand name replacement and it only got better as I broke these in. Noise cancellation definitely isn't as good as OEM, but it feels pretty close! Material has a similar feel to the OEM cushions. Very good value! They also come with replacement foam pieces for between the cushions and the drivers. The other brand name replacements did not come with that!

Het enige positieve aan deze review is de meegeleverde tool om de oorkussens te verwijderen. Na de installatie klinkt het geluid echter blikkerig, en de noise cancelling functioneert nog maar half. Uiteindelijk heb ik daarom de originele oorkussens maar weer uit de prullenbak gehaald.
