Perfect!
Holy cow was I scared to use this without a rack on my SUV! But it worked so well I crammed it as much as I could on the way home because I was fully confident in its ability to stay secure! The straps were very sturdy and for the price I was blown away! I go camping often and fill my car so high that I can’t see anything until I ordered this! The straps are adjustable and no matter what you can Velcro them close together so they don’t flap around in the wind! I was able to fit all my blankets and pillows plus other things. It also took no time at all to get set up because you literally throw it on your car and attach the hooks to the door frame and loop it around. That simple!

This roof bag is AWESOME! I’m 72 and got it attached and packed by myself! Drove 1000+ miles.
This thing didn’t leak, stayed in place at 85mph, went through storms and cold! I used this to pack lightweight bags of clothes, bedding, pictures, rugs, silverware and a bunch of miscellaneous stuff and it worked like a charm. I’m 72 years old, female, and got it on the roof of my Toyota RAV4 all by myself!. I used the extra straps just in case but didn’t need them. Went from Chicago to Houston. Checked it every time I stopped for gas and it didn’t budge. Had a thunderstorm with high winds and everything was dry. It’s easy to use. It could’ve held more but the weight limit for my car is 100 pounds so I didn’t want to overload it. Probably had 65-70 pounds in it. Nothing shifted around…even on sharp right turns or in the Arkansas/Missouri foothills. It looks great too! Thick material and strong buckles. It was worth every penny!

15 sq ft luggage carrier
Used this for a roughly 800 mile round trip recently to keep our luggage in and free up some space in the trunk of our SUV. Was surprised at how much it fit (held all luggage for a family of 4) and how sturdy it was. We used the door clips and after tightening down it didn’t move the entire trip. (Stopped several times in the beginning to double check but everything stayed tight and secure) Also, there was no additional noise or whistling coming from the straps. On our return home it was pouring rain for the first couple hours and our luggage stayed dry as a bone, no water inside the carrier at all. Would definitely recommend for the price and ease of use!

Great value!!
This rooftop cargo carrier was amazing!!! The only reason I didn’t give it a five star rating is because I became very frustrated while trying to secure it to my vehicle. The straps didn’t adjust to the height of the carrier. I stuffed it to capacity! I drove across country from Buffalo to Las Vegas and the carrier stayed firmly in place. The carrier itself is very lightweight but super durable! Through the wind and the rain the carrier did not leak or tear. I would definitely recommend! This was an excellent product for the price!

excellent item
I moved 650 miles with this cargo carrier on top of my car. It performed perfectly. It was something I needed. I would buy it again I recommend it to anyone. It looks great on my car and is made very well. It has thick material and a heavy duty zipper. It has door straps and 2 other straps. It comes ready to go. It didn't budge and performed well!

Good buy!
Thickness was good. It held more than I thought it would. It's rain proof, easily to unfold, re-fold, and store. Good buy if you don't have a rack and don't want to splurge to have one installed. Follow the packing instructions and you'll be good.

Perfect through the rain and wind.
I used this for my extra large dog's beds while moving 2,000 miles that were too bulky for both my car and my overstuffed trailer. They are Kong beds and both fit perfectly, matching the dimensions almost exactly, with enough room for some lightweight flat items as well. Unfortunately, it was raining when it was time to load it so I loaded it in the garage first. I do not recommend doing this. It took two people to get it on my car. By the time we got it secured, I was soaked to the bone. The beds were perfectly dry. Later, after I reached my destination, I had to reload it to move into my permanent location. This time I placed it on my car first, then loaded it. That was sooo much easier. I do recommend using some sort of step ladder. I didn't have one handy and ended up opening the doors and using my car to boost me up. It was awkward but worked. I would definitely recommend this product to others. And I will be using it more in the future.

It worked really well
This is a very good bag. I drove this in June from Fairbanks Alaska (I was living in Delta Junction) to Buffalo NY. I traveled 5040 miles through the Yukon and British Columbia, I went down the coast to Vancouver, and a small town near the border of Washington and past Seattle, stayed in Portland, Oregon, then came home on the I- 90 all the way from Washington State to Buffalo, NY. Because I went down the coast, I added 1000 miles to my trip. NOTHING INSIDE MY ROOFBAG got wet. Now it did rain, because I was on the road for 2 weeks. It poured some days and drizzled all day on others. Because I have a Buick Encore GX you can't put the straps through or under the rails on the top of the car, so I had to put them through the car doors. That caused the straps to wick water into my car at times. I'm still giving this 5 stars because for some reason it didn't drip on my head lol through the front straps only the back ones. Plus, if I'd had my VW Tiguan, this wouldn't have happened because the straps would have been on the outside of the car. My friend did it for me and tied it down for me, because I broke my wrist and I was unable to do it. I am a procrastinator so I drove around Buffalo with that roof bag on top of my car for 2 weeks, it was very stable. I drive fast usually 80 -90 miles/hour, which you can easily do in Montana and Wyoming. But even in mountainous, curvy British Columbia and Alaska and Whitehorse, Yukon and all over, it firmly stayed in place. I only heard whistling a few times when I didn't wrap the straps up. This is a good bag. Also no bugs got inside it and NO DIRT. Trust me when I say Alaska and the Yukon are especially dry and dusty. I still have that dirt and dust on my car! lol (by the way, I also bought stretchy screens for my back windows to keep the bugs out, which worked for the most part). I highly recommend this bag. I was a bit worried, but 5000 miles through mountains and hills and curves while I'm flying/fast driving and it performed and held up great. It's really thick! I bought the smaller bag which fit perfectly on my small SUV (the GX is slightly bigger than the regular Encore) and I was able to fit 2 small suitcases (not the tiny ones either) plus other bags in it. I stuffed that joint. Because I had a lot of stuff. I think I could have gotten those rails that go across the top of your car sideways that attach to the siderails, but I didn't want to pay for those. Oh and I have a sunroof, I used the protective mat and I haven't seen any damage or scratches to my car. Plus the sunroof works fine after all that weight that was on top of it. Probably 80-100lbs I saw a lot of these bags on the road!!
