Durable, easy to clean and the cats like it, I would recommend it a lot - one of my cats eats too fast and as she has little teeth, sometimes returns the food… adding more pate style food and a licky mat makes it better for her and enriches the meal time too. This one has deeper ridges.

Ive had a few of these now and they've worked fantastically for slowing my greedy boy cat down. Its great also because it makes them eat in a more natural way that also makes them not be sick as much. I would recommend though that these are better for dry food then wet food. While you can use wet food with them, quite often the wet food can get stuck in the cracks and then theres quite a bit of wastage. My guy also tends to try and chew on it and rips bits off when im not looking, so they can need replacing fairly frequently.

Love using liver paste with these. My only wish is they were dishwasher proof as a bit of a nause to clean all the crevices and it splashes/ricochets water easily when rinsing!

So, I bought these to try and slow my male cat down, so he wouldn't eat his sister's food. However, it didn't work. He would just leave the bits that were difficult to eat and just go hep himself to his sister's anyway. It was an epic fail. Not necessarily the fault of the mats. Perhaps if his sister's food wasn't there he would have made more of an effort.I liked the bright colour and fish shape. But I found them difficult to clean. Especially the blue one. I would think it was clean, put it on the drainer and then later on, I would notice some leftover bits of food, which would then be stuck on. This sometimes happened several times. It was like they weren't there and then they were. Quite annoying.

I have two cats who only like to be given a small amount of food at a time. I usually feed them on a saucer, which results in some of the food being pushed off the saucer onto the floor which is messy. I bought a Lickimat soother to see if that would reduce amount of food on the floor. Result! The mat is perfect, had no problems introducing them to eating off it and there's no floor mess! To clean I just put it in the sink and the food remnants just wash off easily. I'm so happy with it I have ordered some more! :)

We have a kitty cat who literally inhales his food. This mat is great to smear wet cat food on in all the nooks and crannies to slow down the cats who inhale their food ;-) Durable, colorful, cute shape and dishwasher proof.

I absolutely love these lick mats. I got them for my first cat as a kitten for when he got neutered. Knowing he wouldn't be able to lick himself for a week but he could still get the sense of it with a treat or food and a lick mat.I then started using the mats with my new kitten who eats faster that my cat. I love that they are easy to use and easy to clean. In the summer, I'll mix a churu with some water, pour it into the lick mat and freeze it so my cats have a cool treat on a hot day. I highly recommend especially for indoor cat owners!

Solo con este bendito plato logramos que nuestro gato que come como si no hubiera comido en días, se tarde un poco más en comer su alimento húmedo (igual deja limpio este plato, no imposibilita la alimentación) y le de chance al otro de acabarse el suyo en plato regular (a velocidad de gato normal).Funciona mejor con alimento tipo paté, pues el de trozos no se mete bien en las cuencas, ya que no son muy profundas, pero igual ayuda a esparcir el alimento.Lo lavamos con cepillo, agua y jabón de platos, y ha durado ya bastante y sigue como nuevo.

I noticed these for dogs first and was very happy to see they had them for cats. This has definitely slowed down my hungry kitty’s eating. He used to chow down so fast that he’d get hiccups. It’s much better now. I mainly use the green one because it’s easier to spread wet food on it. The blue seems it would be easier for kibbles.
