Item received was unusable. All stainless parts were missing including all covers and machine guards. Basically received a frame with gears.UPDATE: The parcel was marked as 1 of 1. There was no documentation indicating a second shipment. However another parcel was received two days later with the missing stainless parts. It was also marked as 1 of 1. If the original package had been marked 1 of 2 it would have prevented me from filing a claim through my Credit Card Company. Packaging on both was not adequate as there were damaged items in each package. The second parcel contained all of the stainless items that were missing from the first parcel. However they appeared to be parts salvaged from previously returned items as they were all either scratched damaged or both and showed signs of previously being installed on a machine. There was only a small piece of bubble wrap with the stainless items which wasn't wrapped around anything - it was just in the box. The photos in this sellers advertisement are obviously for representation only as there are several differences between the photos and the item received. For example, the discharge shoot is nothing like the one in the pic. The one in the pic would have been ideal and is what I had expected to receive. Also, none of the stainless parts fit properly and is probably the reason for the bunged up screw holes from previously having been installed or attempts to install. *Additionally, the largest gear in the unit has wobble indicating that the center hole is not true or is too large. It will need to be shimmed before use to prevent wear.IN THE END: I contacted the seller by e-mail. The seller was cooperative. The seller has agreed upon a price adjustment and I am waiting on a credit to my account. I would have returned this item except that I need to use the item now and cannot wait two more weeks for another. I will not change my original rating as I had expected to receive this item free of defects in material and workmanship and ready for use straight out-of-the-box. My advice is to contact this seller directly before placing an order to assure availability and (new/used) condition and if there are changes that do not match the pics.

The wheel does not fit on the "drive post". Yes, it is lined up with the pin on the post. I believe the wheel was not machined properly. I have a smaller wheel from my old cane juicer that fits on. Can you send me just the wheel? like I said, the one I am using now is much smaller.

This thing is great. Just used it to juice sorghum canes. Worked perfect. Took the covers off to see the gears and such. The only plastic I found was the knobs that adjust the distance of the rollers. Everything else was steel/cast iron. Steel gears and rollers! Bearings, not bushing! Steel everywhere. Shows it to my son who is a machinist and even he was impressed! Rare to get something from China that is not plastic or cheap pot metal. Just bought another just because machinery like this will not be around forever. This is the kind of machine that was built in the 1920s and 30s. Rare to find something like this today.

I’m rating it 3 star as I found rust on the material although it is claimed to be stainless steel.. otherwise I would be rating 4-4.5

The item was pretty bent up when received. The pieces were not threaded correctly. My husband had to file some of the pieces to get them to fit together properly. The product is very heavy. I am wondering if the hand crank would be more effective if it went the other direction. We kept it because I didn’t want to deal with returning and needed something right away.
