I bought these to embed into a 3D print. Glues can come loose. Plus it just looks nicer to me to have them completely built into a print. So have a consistant size is key. Very powerfull, four magents embedded will hold multiple sheets of paper to a fridge and not move easily.

How I arrived at my overall rating: *** (3.5 stars rounded to 4) Value **** (4 stars) Purchase price: $10.07 Was a good price compared to comparable magnets Quality/Durability **** (4 stars) Duration of use: They do scratch kinda easy, but I didn't break any of them. Make sure to SLIDE them apart to avoid breaking. Ease of Use/Assembly/Install: ** (2 stars) For my application, They just didn't work as I thought they would. I mounted them on wood to make a resin knife holder. Testing it on wood was fine, held up the knives. I then tested it with varying thickness of cardboard in front of it to see how thick of a resin I could pour over. Found the correct depth, then poured the resin over. Final product came out nice, but the magnetic strength just wasn't strong enough for my project. Ended up having to drill out holes and putting magnets on the surface and then sealing. Usefulness/Appearance/Fun Factor: **** (4 stars) They could be good for other projects, just didn't work for mine.

Strong, small disk magnets. They do what they're supposed to do. That's about all you can ask for from magnets.

I've bought 370 of these magnets and have used over 300 of them. The ones from my first order (50pcs) were great; very strong, size within spec and great finish. So I ordered 200 more. Of those, 100 were great, but the other 100 were weak, undersized, had finish issues and you could tell some were chipped before being coated. I'm embedding these in 3d prints and need them to be strong and pretty true to size, so the 100 bad ones were unusable for me. I was disappointed with that order and planned to find another seller, but ended up needing more magnets quickly and these were the only that would be delivered in time. I ordered the 120pcs set and thankfully these were acceptable...but still not great. The finish and size were good and they were decently strong, but not as strong as that first order. In the end I'm not sure if I'll by these again. The black coated ones are less common (compared to silver/nickel) and there aren't nearly as many choices of sellers for them.

They’re smaller than what I first thought but that’s good, I didn’t want them to be so big. They’re VERY magnetic, hard to pull the magnets apart so that shows how good they are.

4セット合計 240個注文。予定よりも何日か遅れて到着。寸法は、外径12mm、厚さ3mmで、ノギスで測ったら表示どおりではあるが、半分近くが私の用途には不合格。仕上げのメッキも綺麗でなく、擦り傷がついているものが多い。また、周辺部にへこみがあるものが半数以上見受けられる。 硬い木に、ショートビットで穴を開け、 磁石を埋め込むという私の使用目的では、穴に手で押し込めるくらいゆるめのものがほとんどで、半数以上は スカスカで使えなかった。だが、工具との相性というよりも明らかに 規格外だ。 なんとか使えるものもあるが、一生懸命に作った加工品に埋め込んでも、擦り傷や周辺部のへこみで外観が綺麗に見えないのは、残念。 結果的には、木に深目の穴をあけ、その中にたくさんの磁石を入れて、表面を寸法通りの社外品の磁石で埋めて、超強力磁石を作り、使い切っておさらばした。ほっ。
