Are these lentils black on the inside as well? i have seen some that only have black skins and are white on the inside.

Once you cook them the flesh inside is lighter color. However, it is not white. These truly are black beluga, delish

I use one cup lentils, 3 cups water. Since I always rinse grains, lentils, etc., after cooking, however, it is not important. Add lentils to water, bring to boil. Simmer, covered, for 45 minutes.
