I absolutely love ssamjang, it's rich, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. The versatile sauce can be used as a dip with meat or veg, on wraps, on rice, stir fries, or stews, as a sauce on pan-fried tofu or meat, and so much more. I've bought Sempio's ssamjang a few times now, and it has been fabulous each time. Really recommend. Unfortunately, the most recent time I ordered this ssamjang, the lid wasn't on properly. The pot burst and spewed ssamjang inside the box. That is Amazon's fault, however, not Sempio's.

Genuinely some of the best ssamjang I've had out of Korea. Tangy and sweet and full of flavour. I'm on my 6th Tub and will keep buying. Personally for me there isn't any spice/heat.

Been wanting to try it for so long. Very salty but in a nice way. Also quite spicy. I like using it to dip celery in. I have yet to use it for any cooking, but i very much like it would recommend.

Oooooo so tasty! Securely packaged so in perfect condition. It has a deep savoury flavour but with a sweet undernote somehow, warm but not hot, a complex flavour which is perfect for adding to a wide range of dishes. Excellent quality and for the price I think it's well worth it. I will be buying this again, more than once!

I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy this. Life and time march on lol Well I treated myself to a tub, and oh boy memories came flooding back yayyyy. safe to say I still love it and will be buying it again. Yes it's salty but as another reviewer said 'in a good way'

While the paste is good, the jar was delivered without a lid, so once opened, I will have to improvise one.

Très content d’avoir enfin trouvé du Ssamjang. Le goût est authentique et parfaitement équilibré, idéal pour les barbecues coréens, les marinades ou simplement en sauce d’accompagnement. Il relève les viandes sans être trop agressif. Excellente qualité, je recommande vivement et j’en reprendrai sans hésiter.
