This product is amazing for my hair type (straight). Every time I use this product someone asks if I recently got a haircut or styled. It smells really nice and comes in a nice glass jar.

I have "good" hair - good natural volume, curly/wavy texture, and I get great haircuts from someone I trust. Product has always been a crapshoot. Gel doesn't work. Mousse is meh. I want volume and definition but not greasy, and I don't want puffy either. Also I'm impatient so if I can do without any heat style tools that's what I want. I'm happy to take any cowlick or frizzy piece, stretch it and pin it down while wet, so it'll air drive smooth. That's the extent of the effort I want to put in. The whole point of the great haircut is to eliminate "styling time." These products are perfect. I put the JVN air dry in my wet hair, pin whatever pieces I want to shape, let it air dry and the result lasts for days without additional product. Lightweight, smells very fresh, no build up, just as promised, and it kills the frizz. It took longer to figure out how to use the recovery serum but wet the hair a bit, rub the serum between your palms, rake it through and neaten up with a Denman brush, it works. These two products cover my hair "styling" needs without anything else.
