I am using this item as a dresser and it is even better than I expected. I measured everything and compared to my space and current dressers. I had 3 tall dressers and one wide dresser. This room was crowded and it was unbearable. Of the three tall dressers, two of them were 5 drawer and one was 4. I was able to get the clothes from 2 dressers into one of these. This has drawers which are 9 inches deep, almost twice the depth of the 5 inch depth of my previous dresser drawers. I have a ton of clothes and only a little space and storage in my house so this was an incredible help. I managed to put two dressers to the curb and I ordered a second one of these so I can hopefully get rid of the other two dressers. The dresser is taller than I am so I put my pajamas up in the top drawer because I don’t need to see what I’m wearing to bed. I just put long sleeves and pants on one side and shorts and short sleeves on the other so I can reach up and grab what I need without the visual being an issue. For the item itself, it was extremely easy to put together. I did not use the included screwdriver, I used a screw driver gun or drill. I did build it by myself in about 40 minutes. (I’m not a handy person, it was just that easy!) It’s extremely sturdy and is probably holding 70 lbs of clothes inside as well as a few blankets I rolled up and set on top. Only one drawer can be open at a time which is a great safety feature to avoid tipping. It does come with the mounting piece where you can screw it to the wall to protect it from tipping but since this room is being completely redone, I haven’t figured out the final spot for all the furniture in order to do that yet but without it screwed to the wall I still have had no issues with it leaning or tipping. I have had it for a month now and I can say this is one of my favorite purchases for organization in my small space. I am considering ordering a third one to store Christmas decorations, bags, bows, etc, but I haven’t gotten as far as measuring if this would be reasonable storage for these items or not. I don’t even know what else I can brag on on this, I just love it so much, it truly went beyond my expectations.

My was was a little difficult to put together because of instructions ( 1. Ouch hole when in reality you have to pull holes out for bar to go through) I watched video on Amazon website (in flip though where I bought it) and my drawers closed without no issues. The file cabinet it sturdy and look great. The height is just perfect for me. I am very happy overall with this purchase.

I don't normally write reviews but I want to share with others about this file cabinet. I had my serious doubts - and in full disclosure, it is no where near the sturdiness of Steelcase or Hon - but it is also a fraction of the price. I have been remodeling my home office (I am a bookkeeper) and had a large 42" 4 drawer Steelcase - I wanted to downsize it and gain some space. I looked at replacing it with a Hon or Steelcase because I wanted the same quality and I was SURE something you have to put together yourself and that cost so little in comparison would be a cheap piece of crap....LOL. Well, it is actually pretty nice. It will do the job I need it to do and will not fall apart. That said, the description says you can put 120# of weight on top of it. Maybe, maybe not, but I am not going to test that claim. It was relatively easy to put together, however, I have a husband that pretty much do anything along that line. I think for the average Joe (me) putting it together, it might be a bit more of a struggle. We got done and the drawers would not properly close all the way and would not stay closed....but we realized we missed the second half of one of the steps :) Which was using the key to flip the lock mechanisms. We did that, and BAM! Looks and works great.

Works perfectly for what I needed. Took a little time to assemble it, but all is good.

This product was quite easy to assemble. When I got to the drawers part is where I had the most issues. The drawers did not close properly so I did some troubleshooting and looked at other videos. One particular video helped me. When I pressed down in the inside of the four corners of drawers and in middle as well. Do With a lot of force you should hear it go down. Also, I reached down in the inside of the bottom back and pushed in on the back end and Wow it worked perfectly. It looks great and no issues… I saw a lot of the reviews and I want to say it’s time consuming with the drawers but if you do what I said and have a little patience it’s worth your money and time…

Well packaged, Well made, thick metal, good fastners. Assembly instructions are easy to follow. Assembled in about 30 minutes

Comes packeaged very well. Instructions are simple and easy to follow until the end of the assemply. The outer carcass went together very well. The drawers, which you assemble last. took a moment or two to figure out because the drawing and instructions were a bit hard to follow. The big problem came when putting the drawers in the carcass. The drawers don't fit so, the drawers don't close properly and if you jostle the cabinet a little too much trying to get the drawer to open because it sticks, the locking mechanism engages and you have to use the key to disengage the lock while trying to get the drawer to pull out. the top drawer is the most problematic. I'd rather return it to get something of better quality but it's already assembled (mostly) and I'd never be able to get it repackaged like it was when I received it so, I guess this a matter of getting what you pay for.

Easy to setup, lightweight. Works as expected.

My order took over 4 weeks to arrive. I understand they has to re-ship the order due to damage however this was not communicated to me until I pressed for an update. Once it arrived the cabinets were also damaged/dented from poor handling from the sellers to me.

After receiving a flat box ,I had to spend a few hours putting the cabinet together. If I had of known I would have went to the store and purchase one all together and had it deleiverd.
