I have an old dog. She stopped eating unless it was just chicken or ground turkey. Which is ok, but not balanced. She also stopped drinking unless I give her water in a syringe. Boom...this was the solution. Baby food has a lot of water in it and this particular baby food is not only organic. It has chicken, sweet potatoes, carrots, corn, sweet potatoes, celery and potatoes. Pretty close to a balanced meal for her. It is also better than the jars because I was having to spoon feed her, which she hated, so I was having to open her mouth and shove the food in. This is just squeeze a little and she licks. I am so happy and she is doing much better now.

My daughter absolutely loves these. She totally inhales them. One time, I took the cap off and put it up to her mouth, and it was gone in 30 seconds. The price I got them for was decent, not sure if it will fluctuate or not. They are very easy to use as long as your child is comfortable using them, and you can always squeeze the contents into a bowl and spoon feed if needs. I love that they have organic ingredients. So convenient when we are on the go.

Quite "liquidy." Still gave it four stars though. For younger infants closer to the beginning age range stated on the package ("9+ Months"), thin is good so that they can drink the puree directly from the pouch's nozzle. For toddlers older than a year, I was looking for thicker products to supplement "homemade foods." Being so thin, toddlers older than a year can grab hold of the pouch, inadvertently squeeze too hard and being so thin, a lot of product will spew out of the pouch.

I mix them with sweet potato. Not the best tasting, but it’s baby food so whatevs. I like another brand but needed to start my daughter on meats.

Earth's Best baby food pouches are wonderful. I normally get the pouches at the store, but lately they tend to be harder to find. I found this 6 pack on amazon and of course I was delighted since the price was right and purchased them for my grandson. So far, 4 of the 6 pouches have been straight water, with a little chum in it. NOW, I am extremely familiar with these dinner baby food pouches and the first thing I do before opening them is I shake them up and squish the pouch a bit to make sure that it's mixed well. I'm actually a little irritated that the pouches aren't clear so you can see inside, but nevertheless, the food is always good. After opening the pouches, I know it sounds weird, but I always squirt out the tip, because a lot of times there is a small section in the tip that is round and formed to the sides where it settled. So anyhow, I squirt the pouch into a bowl so I can mix in some extra soft veggies and heat it up and low an behold, all of the contents inside was nothing but a watery chum. TOTALLY NASTY AND NOT NORMAL. These pouches literally had no food in them and I had to throw them away. Very disappointed. I have NEVER had this happen to that extent. If the pouches were normal and the food inside had not been ruined, I would've given this product a full 5 stars. Earth's Best is just that, the best. Unfortunately though, this 6 pack was not. I am hoping the last 2 pouches are good, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

By far, the worst tasting baby food EVER! I wanted to try something new for my little chipmunk..it didn't go well! I gave him a bite, and he made an "eww" kind of face. I gave him another bite, he gagged. I gave him one more tiny bite, and he threw up. I can't have it because it has potatoes in it, so I had daddy taste it, and he said it was the nastiest tasting food he's had! I was expecting a thicker consistency, but was disappointed in how thin it was. I purchased the package of 6 pouches because I thought it was a good price on this brand, but what a waste of money because I tossed them all out. I'm not willing to give these away because the flavor is so horrible! I won't even give it to my dogs!
