Will the lid comfortably close with the remote control sticks installed?

Yes the sticks will fit with the case closed. It has enough room and it's soft. I also put a microfiber cloth over everything just to wipe stuff off. I also purchased the neck strap and clear glass protector for the screen as well as a landing pad. Really good and inexpensive case for your drone

Perfect for my DJI Mini 3. All I need fits. The lid holds filters, card reader, cables and my permit. I can leave the sticks on the controller no problem. I like it and would buy again.

Very good quality but

I am very happy with how well this case is made but....It is a soft sturdy case, with vacu formed insides and clam shell outside. Which I like as it keeps it light and still have a decent amount of protection. The interior lay out is well done IF you just have the drone, batteries, controller and spare propellers, but that is it . No room for any other accessories. The only other concern I have with this case is that for the drone, battery charger and the controller it is a very very tight fit and the insides the case are rough. Will I get wear and tear on my drone and gear from just taking it in and out or vibrations from travel? Now for the positive. The case is well made as I have said before,even the zipper seems pretty solid so far. The size is perfect for air travel and could fit in carry on or a medium sized back pack. It might be a very tight fit but you want that for travel. I hope this rambling review helps.
