Good
Great gift for the MIL it works great In her little apartment. It’s been two or three years since we bought it. Works like new and it’s easy for her to install.

So far so good
Got this for my basement office, which has no central ac. Generally it does not get too hot down there, but I wanted to try one of these anyway and this had good reviews and was at a good price point. It took some finagling to get the intake/vent window bracket adjusted correctly as my windows are a bit smaller, but I didn't want to cut the bracket. I managed to get it to fit by sliding the adjustable part of the bracket just on top of the tube that snaps in. I put the drain tube in a bucket, plugged it in and fired it up.Within a minute I was feeling icy cold ac!I used this for a couple of months this summer with very positive results. It seems to be put together well, it is solid and rolls easily on its wheels (although the drain and the vent tube pretty much limit where you can go. It seems fairly quiet.for what it is (then again, I like a certain amount of background noise so I probably wouldn't even notice it). I have to watch the bucket which is no big deal to me. All in all I have been pretty happy with it. I may try it in a bigger room this summer and report back.

Have to coax it sometimes to run, but when it runs it does a very good job and I would buy it again.
I have an upstairs room that is horribly humid that is 15 feet x 17 feet and this little machine does a very good job of cooling and dehumidifying that room. It gets 8 gallons of water per day out of the air in that room (not exaggerating as my house is over 100 years old and needs more insulation). It is incredible at dehumidifying when on A/C setting. Also, I put a box fan near the entrance way into the adjacent room which is 15 feet x 12 feet, and that moves the cool air into that room as well. The first year all went well...however, this is the second year that I'm using it, and I find I have to occasionally coax it to kick on (it turns on but the compressor needs coaxing sometimes to kick on)....hit the reset on the cord a couple of times and make sure to use the remote gets it going. I know, sounds weird, but that does the trick for the machine I have. This may be the nature of the type of product, as I have another portable floor model A/C unit of a different brand, and I have to coax that one as well.

Useful as a fan only
Junk.Bought for my RV and it couldn’t do the job, plus a hassle to drain. Never seemed cold enough, so I bought an insulated sleeve for the large vent hose. Still not very cold. I gave to my daughter to try in her small apartment and it worked for 2 days there, now not blowing cold air. Lasted 5 uses in one year.Today I will be throwing in dumpster

Closer to 4.5 stars
Amazing output and works as a nightstand. Used it since last summer it is a great companion if you are looking for a fan or ac unit. Also great sound it kind of functions as white noise that puts me to sleep. The only downside is that its exhaust window mount does not fit well and I have had to tape it in place to keep it from falling out. But without a doubt one of the best ac units you could get.

Not
It was ok for one room. But I shut it off for a while and then after I turned it back on I got an error code and nothing I did could clear it out so I took it out and used it for target practice

Easy to install and well worth the money.
I needed a window unit , I thought and bought one that was so big that it blew the breaker and almost burned out the house at the socket. Ends up, big isn’t better. I had to get an estimate for install too, over 400 dollars so, I bought this one. Nobody needed to install and big enough at 10,000 btu to cool a room 15 by 15 ..and not blow breakers. I live in an old mobile home so brokers are smaller I think, than normal homes. The air conditioner is a real upgrade to having just a fan. This unit needs an exhaust kit to vent the super hot air it extracts. I love the icy cold air it shoots out. This is well worth the money.I almost bought 2 , but I do have central air conditioning too, but it only can do so well. It appears well made .there is a sleep mode and a timer for making it a little less cold as you sleep.

Easy to install and efficient in cooling
Easy to set up and easy to operate. Is very efficient in cooling the large room we have it in. Noise level is pretty low. It is nice not to have to install in a window like window-box units. The equipment it comes with for the exhaust is simple to install. If I had to say one gripe it would be that the window exhaust attachment to the AC unit itself can pop out too easily if one rolls the unit too far.
