The real thing works much better.
We use blenders constantly at the smoothie shop. These are MUCH better replacements. The "knock-offs" fail in 2-3 months (many fail in hours). These drive sockets last about 1 year under very heavy use. Don't bother with any other sockets, get these.

I operate a commercial Smoothie Shop. We go through a lot of drive sockets over the course of the season. I have found these to be as good as any others I have purchased but at a better price.

Genuine Vitamix Parts
Just received and replaced first drive socket. All appear to be genuine OEM parts given product comparison with existing and packaging detail; see photos. As a bonus (not listed in product details), included rubber set screw access port plug for each drive socket so that you don't need silicone to seal off the access port once installed.

If you have a Vitamix you should keep these handy for regular maintencance
Worked great, easy to install, bring your Vitamix back to life, you'd be surprised how much performance you lose with old worn out sockets. Used in a restaurant where we hammer our blenders with frozen fruit all day.

Good deal.
So took me a while before I find these, 5 for $30 some dollars is a good deal, most places sale 1 for around $8-$12. Depending where you get them, at 1st I thought it’s one of them “after market” cope car stuff, but turn out it was good. The only thing I really hate about this drive socket is that it’s really hard to install I mean it’s really tricky to try to put it in?! That’s one thing I really hate about vitamix, anyway; it is what it is, would I buy it again, yes!! Most definitely.

Not the right parts and very bad quality
I believe I was cheated. The delivered parts were not as the picture and original. The items has only small steal part inside and got damaged within 10 days. You may notice the original part and the new purchased part from the picture. Really unsatisfied with quality and the delivered parts. I believe the parts are not what it supposed to be.
