6600mAh Li-ion Battery

I purchased two of these Neewer 6600mAh batteries recently to power a couple of Neewer NL-480 LED video lights and have been quite happy so far with both battery capacity as well as general performance. After a few recent local power outages, I decided to see if the NL-480 could be an acceptable portable emergency light, while at the same time, checking out the performance of these batteries. Both the lights and batteries performed well. I ran tests running the lights at 50%, 60%, 80% and 100% brightness and got anywhere from two hours to 3 hours and 40 minutes of battery life with these batteries. And as an emergency nightlight, 50% brightness was plenty. It can take overnight to charge two of these batteries in trickle (slow charge) mode, but you’ll get at least two hours of use per battery at 100% brightness on the 29W, 3360 lumen/meter lights I used for my testing. The batteries also seem to hold their charge when when not in use. The manufacturing quality of these Neewer batteries is above average for an after-market product which has usually been the case with the previous Neewer products I have purchased. I have only had the batteries for three weeks, but as of now, this is a five star product, and a good value at the right price.

So far so good. It's been through multiple charge cycles since I got it, and it's still working. It's an aftermarket battery, so it doesn't last quite as long as an OEM battery. However, it's a fraction of the cost of OEM so I don't mind. Even if it permanently dies after just a couple years, it will have served it's purpose at a very affordable cost during that time.

Haven’t had it for too long but it’s worked great as a backup battery. That being said, it doesn’t come with its own charger, so I have to charge through the camera. Not a hard fix though. Seems durable and like it’ll last me a while. Holds a charge for a few weeks even when using it consistently, depending on if I’m doing more photo or video. 4.5/5

I expected this to under perform the Sony brand official batteries and bought it as a backup. But it has lasted about as long with no issues to make it obvious which battery I have in my Sony A7rV. So, maybe I should look into my expensive Sony battery because I see other reviews saying these don't perform as well. I'll be buying one or two more as backups. The price is well worth it.

The real selling point for this battery is that there is no battery warning on A7 series cameras even with newer firmware versions(as of 8/26/22). Downside is that the battery life isn't as good as the oem sony battery, but its a great backup as the oem batteries last plenty long enough, and it's nice to just carry one extra around for backup. Haven't yet had issues with loosing battery while sitting in storage.

Perfect. Duravility. I love it

I picked this up to replace an aging battery for my Sony a7RIII. It held up all day of shooting while we were traveling. It works fluidly with my Sony camera (I’ve gotten error codes with other brands in the past). I’ll definitely pick up another one to have in the bag.

I tested these at 100% in my LED lights, and they lasted about 2.5 hours. That's much improved from the NP-F550 equivalent batteries I'd bought first, which last less than 40 minutes at 100% in the LED lights. These larger capacity will fare much better at shoots than the 550s did, using the lights at less than 100% most of the time. They're a bit heavy and bulky, but are worth the tradeoff. I charge these with a 3-batter charger that I bought on here, called "Newmowa Rapid 3-Channel Charger for Sony NP-F550, NP-F750, NP-F970", and I'd recommend that charger as well.

Great Product

Auf der Suche nach einem Ersatz-Akku für meine Sony Alpha 7 iii bin ich auf den Akku von Neewer gestoßen. Der Orginal Akku kostet knapp 70 € was ziemlich viel ist. Der Akku von Neewer kostet derzeit nur knapp 27€. Was eine Ersparnis von ca 40 € ist. Ich habe die Akkus nebeneinander fotografiert - siehe Bild 5. Von der Verarbeitung kann ich keinen wirklichen Unterschied feststellen. Der Akku fühlt sich hochwertig und gut an. Der einzige Unterschied ist das kein Logo auf der oberen Seite zu sehen ist. Die Akkus haben auch die selbe Leistung von 7,2v 2280mAh 16,4Wh. Der Neewer Akku hat auch einen eingebauten Schutz gegen Überladung, Kurzschluss und Hochtemperatur. Das Laden funktioniert genauso wie mit dem Standart Akku - einfach Akku in die Kamera einlegen und das Ladegerät an der Kamera anschließen. Prinzipiell ist der Standart Akku von Sony ziemlich gut - aber ein Ersatzakku für Projekte, Hochzeitsreportagen etc ist ein Muss um immer genügend Power zu haben. Ich konnte keinen Unterschied feststellen von der Batteriedauer. Beide Akkus halten in etwa gleich lang. Noch ein Tipp für einen noch längeren Akku für die Sony Alpha -> siehe Bild 4 in den Kameraeinstellungen: Einfach in den Einstellungen im dritten Reiter unter Netzwerk den Flugmodus anschalten.Damit spart ihr euch einiges an Akku. Fazit: Ein guter leistungsstarker Akku der perfekt als Ersatzbatterie für Einsätze ist die einen zweiten Akku benötigen.

Ses batteries de remplacement son de la même qualité que ceux OEM. Je me sert de ses batteries là pour utiliser mon Sony A7rii et je n'est aucun problème. La durer de vie est la même que la batterie originale et elle ne chauffe aucunement. Je recommande fortement ce produit!
