Firmstrong Beach Cruiser Bicycle Wheelset, Front and Rear

I needed new wheels for a project bike I'm working on. I ordered these because it was a great price compared to several others available. My order arrived quickly and was well packaged. I'm very pleased with the new wheels. They function perfectly and they look great. Being they're made from an aluminum alloy I believe they will last a long time.

Stock Huffy wheels are never true, even when they're brand new. So why spend $20 each to get stock Huffy steel wheels trued, when you can buy this wheelset with lighter, stronger aluminum rims, which were true right out of the box, for $45 each (with painted white rims).These wheels were packaged better than the $170 heavy-duty wheelset I have on my commuter cruiser. They also have rim strips pre-installed, which my $170 wheelset did not.The white painted rims give the bike a "whitewall" effect, even with all-black tires.In less than half an hour, these rims transformed my Huffy Nel Lusso into a super-smooth riding cruiser.Five stars all the way, and these would be worth buying even for a brand-new Huffy.

I had two really nice three speed bikes that were flooded in hurricane Ian as I did not get a chance to get them out of the floodwaters. The bike shop wanted $450 to get my bikes back up to speed. I worked for a while on my brothers bike shop 30 years ago but I never messed with three speed hubs, and I was worried that I would not be able to put this on and have it work correctly. I am fairly skilled with wheel changing so I did not have a problem putting it on and when I hooked up the cable to it, which was provided, it worked like a charm. I didn’t change out the front wheel yet because my front wheel had a quick release on it and it still worked, but the spokes are going to start popping soon from the salt water so when that happens I’ll have a new front wheel also. Now that I know how easy it is I can order a second set for my other three speed cruiser.

I have a 7 year old 26” Firmstring Bruiser 3 speed bike in all black. My rear rim was bent because I was carrying a child seat for 5 years to being my boy on bike rides with us.Decided it is time to get new rims and orders these. My bike rides so smooth like it is brand new!!! It is a very smooth ride and impressed with the rims!!Love my bike!Shipped very fast, all parts came with it, two rims front and back, new 3 speed shifter came with. Parts easy to install as it took me less than 30 minutes.Highly recommend!

I purchased the white rims for $90 a set. I've spent more on tires... Time will tell regarding the long-term value, but geeze, these were an inexpensive fix to a nagging problem. I had an old set of rims that I kept repairing then realized that the hub were bad and kept eating up the ball bearings. The new front rim was straight as an arrow, right out of the box but the back rim was way out of true. This product would have received five starts if I didn't have to spend an hour getting the rim straightened out. You can buy better rims, but they would cost twice as much. Just understand that you will not be riding in the Tour de France on them.

My wife enjoys them. They add a certain tone for her bike and they're just AS good as the Name brand one's.
