Perfect replacement for vintage Sennheiser HD424 cans

Works pretty good. I can not tell if the balanced cable really improves the sound quality. It is first and only upgraded balanced cable setup. My HD600 with a balanced headphone amp sounds great. The physical quality is pretty good although the cable connector cover fell off, had to use glue to get it back. The cable does NOT pick up cable noise from the cable rubbing on something like my other non-oem cable. The wires are twisted together and there is nothing I see holding it twisted, I worry that it might untwist in time but it has not with over 1 month usage so far. So far, is am satisfied with this cable especially at the price range. I will update with a long term status if I have any problems in the future.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and seems to be durable. There’s no way to know that for sure, however since I haven’t owned it that long at this point. But all indications are that it will hold up over time. I use this cable connected to Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones and connected to a balanced 4.4mm headphone output. Balanced headphone output from the headphone amp makes quite a bit of difference in power, volume, and quality of sound.

The cable works fine for the most part, but the microphone is mediocre quality. It's probably fine for a basic phone call, but I wouldn't choose it for video calls at work. Also the volume buttons don't seem to work right on my iPhone 16 Pro using the official Apple USB-C audio adapter. If I press volume up, it slams the volume to the max. Same thing for the volume down button. I'll be returning it.

I have had a good experience w the FAAEAL brand, and this upgrade balanced XLR cable, made a noticeable Sound Quality improvement. First time using my amp XLR balanced circuitry….easily a 15% improvement. Good quality and value vs eBay items

Cable worked great and sounds good. I like the braided feel, I do wish it was longer but that’s just because I’m used to how long the original senheisser cable was. The metal slide is a nice and all but it keeps catching on my desk because it’s at the perfect height to catch. I’m 5’6” so that might not be an issue for you

I had to look a long time to find some balanced headphone cables for my sennheiser hd 650 that wasn't over hyped, over priced and made dubious claims. These cables were well made and did exactly what cables should do get out of the way and conduct the power with minimal loss and inaccuracy. An excellent buy recommended highly.
