You have to put it together. However, none of my peices fit and had to return it. Do not buy this product

Q: Can horney be used in it instead of oil?

Lube would work better,butt if you use enough oil the kernels burn hot , yet none stick to the pot. If there’s enough horney, no oil would be needed, butt it would need to be very horney. I would recommend avocado oil instead.
