Works well and looks good. The arm has wheels which is much better than my previous one which just rubbed along the door albeit in a plastic receiver. The closer can also be fitted to the door with arm running along the wall - a much easier installation.

Easy to install and a simple door closer. Was good value and closes the door perfectly. You can adjust the speed on the closer and the strength of the close.

The closer seems fairly robust and it does the job, sort of. When I installed it on a door in an internal room I had the window open and closer worked fine, closing the door fully so that the catch engaged. When I finished the job, closed the window and left the room the door no longer closed all the way. I've noticed this in other rooms where the door closes easier when a window is open. Something to do with the air vacuum in the room I guess. Anyway, I didn't need this closer to close the door fully so I'm quite happy with it. As other reviewers have mentioned, the instructions are almost microscopic and not much use but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to install the closer. One confusing thing is that there is an arrow marked on the barrel of the closer but there's nothing to tell you which way this arrow should be pointing when you install it. I have it pointing away from the door but I suspect it doesn't make much difference which way it is pointing. One slightly annoying thing is the the arm does not screw into the barrel all the way so it is a little bit loose. I just noticed that the images show a nut attached to the arm which may help with this issue but there was no nut included with mine.

It works well. liked the fact that it came with a threaded bar that you use to turn the tensioner instead of a screwdriver. I use this on a fly screen door, so it’s always in use, and there is no problems so far, happy.

I bought this door closer to keep the cat out of the bedroom after he wet the carpet in there. It is effective for this purpose. The door closer is of solid construction and is made out of metal. It should last many years. It is quite easy to fit. Screws are supplied. You would need a suitably sized drill bit to make the holes and a screwdriver. This is an easy job for any handyman.

Easy to install. Seems a quality item. Could perhaps do with a bit more adjustability. One setting closes too firmly, the next not quite firmly enough. Overall, satisfied.

Quite flimsy, it works well at the moment, but it’s only been on a week. The plate that sticks to the door for the runners to run on isn’t long enough for the full sweep of the arm either. But it is cheap……

Now winter is here and bills are on the increase, we are trying to save money and keep the heating low. The lounge stays warm if we keep the door closed. Trouble is we have cats and kids who don't shut the door behind them! So after my attempt at creating a door closer with string and weights failed I decided to order this device. The moment it arrived I set about fitting it to the door. Installation was a breeze and setting the right tension was easy. Now the lounge stays warm, the cats can get in and out without problems and there's no more shouting at the kids (and me) to shut the door. Happy days!
