Art's Principles: 50 years of hard-learned lessons in building a world-class professional services firm

The principles that helped build out a highly successful and global design firm is outlined here by the person who did it. The principles are timeless and in some cases very straight forward. However, the fact that some 62 of them are put together in one very readable book by Gensler allows for a total picture of how the strategy and culture of a successful design firm works.

Good book but something was wrong with the printing and I had a bunch of out of order pages.

This is the real deal. Gensler has built such an empire, and the book explains you how it happened. As the title says, you get **principles** - insights distilled from years of practical experiences. That's why I would say this is not a book to be read through once, but rather to be contemplated over longer periods of time, repeatedly, in intervals, ideally while engaged in one's own practice.
